Great place with beautiful Persian vibe and Persian songs. The food was good and big portions, and we loved the remaining part taken home more than dining in the restaurant (TMI). The rice was too dry to my taste, but still, I loved it, and people were nice. There seemed to be a lot of seating available, and the design was very nice. I loved the Farsi decor. I didn't like the smell, whatever it was, and that's the only downside to my visit.
Farsi Cafe is just okay. The atmosphere is nice and the presentation was solid, but the food didn’t quite deliver. The kabob was a bit dry and the rice lacked the rich flavor you’d expect from a Persian spot. Service was polite but slow. It’s not a bad place, but for the price, I was hoping for more. Might give it another try, but not in a rush.
I love their Tahchin, Tahdig, Kashk o Bademjan, Kobideh & Fesenjon, etc. I don’t live up in LA, so I don’t get to the restaurant as frequently.
