The cutest shop with beautiful pastries that look like a piece of art. Everything taste really good. It makes for a nice treat or beautiful gift box on special occasions.

I came here to try the cakes. We got the sampler box and was so impressed with the cakes itself. They were extremely tasty, flavorful and rich with flavor. The service was great. It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. We really liked the ube cake, black sesame, Belgian chocolate and lavender lemon.

I am happy to see this cake shop in Chinatown. We were at the Firecracker event and saw this cute little shop. The cake is good but not "crazy good" description from my friend who tried the cake, cookies and donuts. I like Asian bakery but this seems to be a little dense and TOO sweet for my taste. Pricing is expensive for what you get. I don't mind so much of the pricing if it is super good. As sweet as it is, this tiny cake took me 3 servings to finish. Service is good.

I just recently ordered from Flouring-the cake sampler with 6 different flavors. First, let me say how beautiful they looked! Like little works of art. I wasn't sure if they would taste as good as they looked, but let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Each flavor was so unique and delicious. it was hard to pick a favorite. The sesame was such a surprise, kind of nutty, kind of like tahini, kind of not. The passionfruit was delicate and perfectly captured the flavor. The lavender lemon marble was sublime and not perfume-y which I sometimes find in lavender-tinged desserts. But my favorite was without question the wildberry. It was so fresh and had real fruit in the middle layer with amazingly delicious and adorable mini meringues on top. I will come back to try their pavlova now for sure. Furthermore, they are tucked a bit out of the way, but the whole process was so simple. You order online, drive up, ring them and they bring it straight out to your car with a smile on their face. Then you head straight from their shop to the on-ramp to the 110 fwy-couldn't have been simpler!

Very cute little shop. The cakes were delicious and had a nice balance of sweetness and the flavors given for each piece. I tried the black sesame and cookies and cream. Both were very good.

Read about this place in eater so I stopped in. Beautiful desserts and small shop. It's very small inside but there are a few chairs and tables outside. I had a lemon lavender cake which was pretty and tasted great. I'm not sure the flavor stood out to me compared to other places and I felt the price was a little bit on the higher end. But if you find yourself in Chinatown looking for a treat it's worth the stop.

Been ordering from Chef Heather, Cortney and her team at Flouring LA since they were doing dessert boxes out of the Arts District. Excellent customer service, and not only are her creations beautiful, but absolutely delicious. Quality of ingredients and the care / attention put into every item comes through. I NEVER have leftovers with her cakes. :)The latest was the cake we got for my niece's first birthday and let's just say NO crumbs left. I wish I had photos to share, but you all can see just how gorgeous her designs are. Congrats to the Flouring team on your new store. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you!!!

I really wanted to like this place, but ended up disappointed. Aesthetically, the cakes are pleasing. I liked the concept of cake bars because it’s easier to share compared to traditional slices. It’s the flavor and taste where the food falls short. The cream used tastes artificial and incredibly oily afterwards. The cake portion was on the dryer side..maybe the cream was supposed to cover it up? I’m not sure. My fave was the black sesame, but even then, what I mentioned previously makes the cake fall short.

The passionfruit cake might be the best dessert I’ve ever had: moist, full of flavor, not *too* sweet and beautiful to look at ?

This is a stop and shop bakeshop. There really isn't much seating, but I hear there's a coffee shop next door. I went to the grand opening for cake bars. It's really a treat as you get to taste various unique flavors. I loved the passionfruit and lavender! This is the perfect gift ❤️Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved this bakery, go Chef! She's 13 and felt inspired by the creativity in the craft and delightful atmosphere ✨️

My favorite new bakery! I purchased one of the sampler sets the weekend this place opened and picking it up was easy and a full on sensory experience (dragon celebration!!)Every flavor they offer is incredible and each slice is so beautiful. I ate each slice slowly over a few days and can say that several battle for my favorite flavor. Definitely check them out!

This bakery is a gem. The cake is beautiful to look at and it’s also heavenly to eat. It’s not cloying and sweet like most pretty to look at cakes. These are subtle and delicate flavors that just taste like an artist crafted them. The passion fruit and lavender is incredible, the strawberry is like a cloud of strawberry deliciousness, the chocolate flavors all are delicate but full. Chef Heather’s cake alone just melts in your mouth and then the flavors and fillings are such a bonus of elegant flavor. This is a really sophisticated bakery. I tried 6 cakes, a cookie and a donut and I can’t tell u a favorite because they were all great. Have a cake tasting party! You won’t be sorry.

Our absolute FAVE! Flouring feels like the no brainer dessert provider for my wife and I now. They created the most magical dessert table for our wedding, including a gorgeous two tier cake, smores bars, cookies and more. We've now ordered countless desserts (holiday boxes, birthday cakes, etc) and we feel so grateful to have found this shop. Love love love Flouring so much!

Fine, but nothing to write home about. I also prefer my cake a little more velvety/dense/plush/more flavorful, these are just soft and fluffy. 3 slices of cake for $23 They are a good size to share between 2-3 ppl. Matcha cake with red bean was my fav, but the matcha could have been more prominent. Lemon lavender didn't taste like perfume, but had a good balance. I believe the last slice I had was a mixed berry one.. Buttercream wasn't like sugar, no need to scrape off extra. Drove from oc to get here, found parking on the street on a weekday. Weekend sounds more like a mission given the businesses in the area. Service was ok, I had to ask if the cakes had to be left out or not, which they do so that the buttercream + cake can be eaten at room temp and not be hard straight from the box.
