What a cute place with incredible ice cream. The waffle cone is so amazing
Ice cream was delicious but the customer service wasn’t good at all. My kids and I entered the establishment around 8pm, we just happen to pass by and saw it was open. The lady serving us was clearly sick and wearing a mask served us ice cream and had an attitude. We weren’t greeted and the vibe just seemed off in there. It was clearly our first time and she didn’t bother guiding us at all. After purchasing the lady didn’t even say “thank you for coming” or nothing she just walked away while I was paying. I just felt like I wasn’t given the same respect as the other clients around me. I thought maybe she was having a long day but when she handed over a cup of foam for a dog she should it more respect than me lol
The Burnt Milk flavor
was really good 🔥
One of my favorite ice cream places was Ici’s in Berkeley but it suddenly closed a few years ago. I’ve been looking for a place to fill that void and perhaps find closure. Well, I found closure and a new magical ice cream experience in Sunset Blvd. Eating their ice cream for the first time felt like that scene in the film Ratatouille where the food critic takes a bite and flashes back to his childhood.
I live 6 hours away, but always make sure to stop by when I’m visiting. I was going to give up ice cream for lent, but knew I wouldn’t be strong enough to skip Fluffy McCloud’s! Already looking forward to my next visit!
Amazing waffle cone.
Took my daughter there to try it out, she loved her chocolate ice cream.
Ice cream is so good. Banana splits are awesome. Staff is soooooooo bad…every single time it’s a truly bizarre, unfriendly, and inhospitable experience. I’ve never experienced a single nice human working with there. Really kills the vibe.

such a gorgeous interior and delicious ice cream…my only complaint is that every time I’ve been here the servers have been exceptionally rude. I work in the service industry too, and I understand not being sunshine and rainbows 24/7, but would it kill you to smile and not act like you’re incredibly irritated with your customers? It’s like they’re mad at you for giving them business? It’s really turned me off from coming here which is sad because it’s great in every other aspect.
Some of the best ice cream can be found here! I was a bit reluctant at first but after trying a sample of the strawberry ice cream, I was hooked. Got a waffle cone of it and hands down, their waffle cones are the best. It’s the sweet spot of not too soft and not too hard. Best part is the wonderful lady who helped us was extremely friendly. Along with all of this, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit here if you love ice cream!!

There are a lot of people, so there is some waiting time. I especially like the corn flavor and pistachio flavor.

!! ATTENTION !! ICE CREAM LOVERS
This was a surprise find. Store doesn't have many reviews, so I was hesitant to come here. WOW!! It was worth it. They have some of the best ice cream flavors I have tasted. I am not a fan of coffee ice cream, but here it was amazing!! Their pistachio & chocolate flavors are even more amazing

FANTASTIC SHOP! Delicious flavors made with fresh and genuine ingredients, unique flavors as well for the more adventurous, quirky space and decor, reasonably prices for the generous portion, and a lovely experience overall. I cannot recommend more!

Excellent products, and excellent service! The lady serving us was so nice and had a great smile. The ice cream was delicious, and they had good music playing on their jukebox. I will definitely be back!

There is not fantasy here. The odor of dirty, moldy rag inside the shop is overwhelming. This shop was recommended by a friend, and I live a few blocks away so I came here and asked the ice cream scooper for recommendations or guidance; they were apathetic and unable to provide any. They said, "If you get a single serving, it comes with two scoops and you'll try two flavors." I got two scoops; they were mid. The decor is equally mid; there is a vacuum cleaner on the shelves, an Alcoholics Anonymous bible, and other random items. I'm sure it is meant to be cheeky but it just ended up looking messy. As soon as the scooper gave me the smallest scoops I have ever received, both employees went right back to leaning on the counter with their eyes glued to their smartphones. I came in here in a great mood, and left feeling like I needed to bathe.

Double Scoop Waffle Cone / horchata + churro - 5⭐!
Fluffy McCloud's in Echo Park is a hidden gem of an ice cream shop run by some highly creative people. It was a delight to visit their shop to try their fresh, all-natural, handmade ice cream. I am glad I saw them on social media because their unassuming storefront is hard to spot if you don't know what you're looking for. In an era dominated by made-for-social-media 'branding', having a plain but elegant storefront is clever.
The interior of the shop is reminiscent of a classic ice cream parlor but made for the current era. It is charming, quirky, and has a variety of fun details like the classic jukebox decked out with cow horns or the lotto ticket dispenser in the center of their main counter space.
The two clerks running the shop were kind, friendly, and helpful. Another detail I appreciated was that their sample spoons are metal. I had to sample their fresh-milk vanilla because I had never seen something like that before but I settled on churro and horchata for my cone.
The ice cream is fresh, creamy and delicious. From what I gather, they rotate flavors and present them in a glass case like a gelato shop. They have vegan flavors and sorbets. While I was there, I saw a table share a banana split and it was one of the most gorgeous ice cream treats I had ever seen. I wasn't brave enough to try one. I was by myself and would not have wanted to let any of it go to waste.
Echo Park has tough to find street parking but also this area has large parking lots just off Sunset so parking is never really an issue here. If you are here for any of the amazing restaurants in the area, finish your meal with a delicious ice cream treat from Fluffy's. It is a great spot.
