It's a pretty small and intimate venue so you can get really close to the stage! There's really nothing separating the stage from floor other than height.There's some street parking nearby if you're lucky or you can park at a public lot around the corner for a small fee. I think on weekends it's free or it's free after a certain time in the evening!
Random additional info that doesn't seem available anywhere:1) Yes, you can buy tickets at the door. (Obv you're chancing the show doesn't sell out.)2) There is bench seating around the entire back perimeter.3) The sound is indeed "pretty good" as others have said, but it does bounce off the back of the walls slightly.4) They open the doors to the outside for airflow, which may carry in some cigarette smoke.5) There are snacks and small bites (think candy bars and hot dogs).6)...read full review

Decent venue, nothing fancy, but is affordable, sometimes you can snag a spot on the street near by, they have cool acts and events. I am surprised I never reviewed it since I have been going to the Echo for over 10 years for concerts, NYE parties and always had a good time. The crowd is OK, bathrooms clean enough, drinks are reasonably priced. I like their DJ-s and their sets, really fun and gets you on that dance floor.
