The food was alright but the ambience is super cool and so was our waiter who was on top of his game on a rather busy night.

The food here exceeded my expectations. Everything was really delicious and really fresh. Our favorite thing was the shrimp poe boy, the bread was perfect and sauce and flavor combination amazing! Everything was reasonably price and customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be back soon!

I came excited to try their wings which look amazing from the photos. But unfortunately when I pulled up on Friday at 11:40 they were closed. :( There was a sweet employee outside who informed me her boss has left to run a errand. Unfortunately I did not have time to wait around maybe I will come and try again when they are open

This spot needs credit where it's due. Thai tea boba is on point. Noodles have this nice flavor with a lil spice. Great service. Has TVs inside so theres entertainment. Check it out!

I found this place when stopping at the taco place next door, and stopped here the next time. This is a pretty cool place! FOOD I ordered 1 pound of mussels (house flavor with medium heat) with 3 added potatoes and a strawberry slush with boba. They didn't have the slush on the menu but said they could make it anyway. I could really taste the strawberries, and the boba was a really smooth texture! The mussels tasted really good, flavored with garlic and other Cajun seasoning. It was too spicy for me but then again I don't do spicy at all. 1 pound came and went quickly and I wasn't full, but it was a really well flavored bag of mussels! They included 3 red potatoes in the bag that soaked up the seasoning so it tasted really good. Each bite was really good! SERVICE The cashier was nice, asking how the slush tasted, and even said she hoped to see me back next time as I left. Before giving the food, they double checked the order with me to confirm too. ATMOSPHERE/AMBIENCE They played good upbeat/oldie music, and had a very clean interior. There weren't many people inside, but they do have $5 lunch specials from 12-3pm (I think the times are right). OVERALL I'll probably be back for the lunch specials or for some of the seafood for when I want to treat myself or add some super flavorful good quality Cajun seafood!

Love this place! Been waiting a long time for something like this in East Los. Cheap and tasty! I finally can get my Cajun style food in my backyard.

I was craving fried oysters. I found Food Express! My boyfriend and I got the combination platter with 6 shrimp, 6oysters, 2 catfish, and Cajun fries. The food was not greasy at all! We will def. come by again when we are craving fried oysters !

My new favorite place for drinks. From coffee to smoothies, or boba is yummy. I hardly find anywhere that uses tea leaves to make milk tea (not powder). My friends love the food. We usually come as a group, and each of us has various choices when comes to food. Pho, crawfish, fried rices, fried wings. Must try Parmeson cheese chicken wings.

This was my first time coming to Foody Express. I came in on Friday Nov 16 around 11 am. What caught my attention were the boba drinks. The place is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The decor is very cute- the small aquariums and potted plants. You can take cute pics in the corner by the potted plants. The cashier was very nice and friendly. The only thing was that the boba was not ready yet (it was like 11 am) so I went back around 1. I ordered the matcha milk tea boba unsweetened and I liked it! And for the price, you can't beat that! I will definitely try the food!

The place is new but the service is great. Food was good, but the best part was the coconut milk boba 👍

I was going to get eat at Ensenada but I noticed they opened a Cajun fusion place. I ordered the following; 1.Shrimp po boy(it came with fries)- It only came with 4 shrimp . The rest was bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Very little sauce. The only thing good about it was the Cajun fries. 2. Wings-I got half buffalo and half mango habanero. It was meaty and flavorful. 3. Shrimp fried rice- It was ok. It came with very small shrimp and it was a little dry. The best part out of everything was the Cajun fries and wings. But they didn't give me any ranch. Just ketchup and soy sauce. I've seen restaurants in the same spot, come and go several times in the last year.I hope this place tweeks the minor things and stays around.

The shrimps were cooked well and delicious!! The sauce was tasty but I would want it thicker so it would actually stick to the shrimp like boiling crab but you can't really compare if u like that place just go there but honesty the drinks taste great and I would def go back and try something else the fried oysters were bomb :)
