This small mom and pop restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember. It’s a great spot to grab good, quick food. Prices are on point to the food. No frills dining, but always good.

We are a family from Taiwan who enjoyed wonderful breakfasts here for three consecutive days. The staff were patient and explained each dish in detail; despite the language barrier, the service quality remained outstanding. The food was delicious and generously portioned—I especially recommend the Sausage and the Asada Plate (the Beef Ribs option might be even better). Thank you to the team for your attentive hospitality; you set the tone for a great day of travel!

Hole in the wall mexican place ive been coming to for a few years now. Ive only ever had the mixed breakfast burrito and its one of the best ive ever had and comparatively affordable. All their food ive seen looks good though. Service has always been friendly and im glad to see covid didnt kill the place. My only minor complaint is their salsas are rather bland. Skip the grove/farmers market, head to franks for a good meal.

If you want real Mexican food . I am Mexican so I can confirm its really authentic. The best customer service as well. Glad to see reasonably priced places.
it is a hidden gem that serves up some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food in Los Angeles. Whether you’re craving tacos, enchiladas, burritos, or fajitas, Frank’s offers a wide variety of flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
The food at Frank’s is always fresh and made with high-quality ingredients, with generous portions that will leave you full and happy. The homemade salsas and guacamole are the perfect complement to any dish, and their signature sauces elevate the flavors even more. If you’re a fan of spice, their menu has plenty of options to turn up the heat, but they also cater to those who prefer milder flavors.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a casual, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the service is fast and efficient.
Frank’s also offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and the quality of the food. It’s the kind of place that keeps locals coming back again and again.
For anyone in the Fairfax and 3rd Street area looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food, Frank’s is a must-visit. Highly recommended for its flavorful dishes, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere!

The chorizo con huevos really hit the spot (friend enjoyed their chilaquiles) and who I assume may have been the owner was really nice and friendly. Will definitely go again when I'm in the area.
