We came in on January 1st and there was only one person sitting inside eating. We grabbed some menus and sat down and waited for a short while before someone came in from the back to take our order. Just one guy taking orders and in the kitchen, he was still able to get our food and the food for the few other people who came in after us out really quickly. The food was great, and the guy working was super nice. Come to find out towards the end of our meal that they were not actually open today. He’s there every day and his friend had come by so he let him in to eat and we just happened to get there when the door was unlocked. I (and I overheard the other patrons expressing the same sentiment) was very apologetic but he said it was fine, “I like it” he said. I still feel kind of bad about it but it was also kind of lovely, what a sweet heart.

I had the best tacos I’ve ever had here. All the ingredients were very fresh especially the guacamole which was excellent.

My wife and I came here for breakfast and were blown away! Delicious food, generous portions, warm hospitality and the best refried beans we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

This small mom and pop restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember. It’s a great spot to grab good, quick food. Prices are on point to the food. No frills dining, but always good.

We are a family from Taiwan who enjoyed wonderful breakfasts here for three consecutive days. The staff were patient and explained each dish in detail; despite the language barrier, the service quality remained outstanding. The food was delicious and generously portioned—I especially recommend the Sausage and the Asada Plate (the Beef Ribs option might be even better). Thank you to the team for your attentive hospitality; you set the tone for a great day of travel!

Hole in the wall mexican place ive been coming to for a few years now. Ive only ever had the mixed breakfast burrito and its one of the best ive ever had and comparatively affordable. All their food ive seen looks good though. Service has always been friendly and im glad to see covid didnt kill the place. My only minor complaint is their salsas are rather bland. Skip the grove/farmers market, head to franks for a good meal.
