My gf and I randomly stopped in and we got some of the best iced lattes we’ve ever had. Chocolate croissant was amazing as well and the gentleman working was very kind. Will definitely be back
Best chocolate rugelach I've ever had. Way better than any other place in town (Canters, the Nosh, etc...) and even better than Rus & Daughters in NY.
I didn't know this going in, but this place has been around since the 1940s and was founded by a German refugee escaping the war. The recipes have been handed down for generations from the old country. It is an institution and city treasure that does absolutely nothing to advertise itself as such....

the poppyseed pastries here are MY FAVORITE!! i can’t find these made properly anywhere but fred’s gets me right every time. every time i visit home i have to get these and their rye bread 🤩🤩
