Was randomly in the area and decided to give this place a try. I got their seasonal butter beer latte, it was AMAZING! If you're into the Harry Potter butter beer, then you'll love this. Service was pretty quick too and the person that made my drink did a great job. It's a nice little place with some outdoor seating, I'd come back again.

Super slow. Was in a bit of a rush and the woman working didn't even flinch when I walked in, couldn't tell who had or hadn't ordered. Weird vibes

Rudest barista. She seemed irritated and started making herself a drink after I ordered.I asked her to stamp my card, but she crumbled it and threw it away. I'm assuming she was upset at me for complimenting her bloomers and for asking her to add an extra shot of espresso to one of my orders. The coffee was not worth the price. She added 95% milk and did not know how to make an espresso shot.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm. Service was incredibly slow, like 20 minutes waiting in line with 1 guest in front of me slow. The barista could've been a bit more friendly but we ended up leaving to another coffee shop nearby. Listen to the reviews and don't waste your time!

I'm a regular and my latest experience has altered my desire to come back to Alibi :( I usually come for their frenz and chagaccino (which is phenomenal) and just now tried ordering their smoothies ($7/each). Service was oddly slow-- nobody else was in the cafe. Just putting the order into the system took a while (technical difficulties, I'm hoping?). The baristas were confused about ingredients and did not start on making my drinks till probably 5-10min after I ordered (again, NO ONE else was in the cafe). Mid way I kept getting asked for my milk preference after repeating it multiple times, and waited another 10min for 1 drink, then another 5 for my next. I missed my Uber in the process. I was a bit upset having to wait almost half an 2 drinks but I assumed the drinks would be phenomenal so I was still pretty optimistic. smoothie was SLUSH. Icy and watery. Stick to coffee.

The coffee here is amazing, particularly the Frenz Latte and HoneyComb Latte. It's easily one of the best coffee places in LA -- once you get the coffee, that is. Therein lies the problem -- this is one of those places that almost wants you to NOT go here, because they make it so hard to get your drink. The baristas, who are very nice and friendly, also happen to be some of the slowest baristas this side of the Mississippi. Which is fine -- sometimes i like waiting 15 minutes for 2 shots of espresso poured over sugar milk, I guess. But since this shop is in a strip mall off a busy road, and not in a spot that invites a culture of casually strolling into your local coffee shop, waiting a few minutes for your drink, and sitting in the shop and doing work, etc, you'd think it would make much more sense to order your coffee ahead of time, park outside, grab, and go. WRONG. And here we get to the most frustrating part about Alibi Coffee. Their system for taking orders ahead of time is abysmal. Want to call in? You can't do that. The barista will pick up the phone after letting it ring for 10 minutes, on the third time you call, and tell you "sorry, we don't take orders over the phone. You have to order on UberEats for Pickup." Again, here we have another puzzling business practice, given that I've never seen more than one other person in this place at a time; they're certainly not busy. They're just the opposite of busy. Sluggish, even. So the barista, who is the sole living thing for miles of the shop, for whatever reason, can't take your order over the phone and just make a drink. Nope, you have to go on UberEats. Great, ok, fine, Ubereats -- but what if you don't have UberEats? What if you have literally any of the other food delivery / pickup apps EXCEPT UberEats (which is arguably the most random and nebulous of all food apps)? You're straight out of luck, sorry! No coffee for you. You either must come in and wait 20 minutes for the barista to make a coffee at the horrendously slow pace of a horror movie character awkwardly running away from a masked killer, or crash your car trying to download UberEats on your way to work. And that is the problem with Alibi -- amazing coffee, but the owners of this place clearly don't want to make money. Either that, or they're in some shady deal with Uber, seeing as almost every restaurant/cafe owner on the planet prefers to take call-in orders in order to avoid the extraneous fees that services like UberEats/DoorDash/Postmates put on businesses. The customized punch-cards they have are cute though!

Really good cold brew with horchata, excited to try the rest of the menu soon. Very nice barista. Quaint coffee shop with limited patio seating.

I'm very happy to walk in today. I ordered the Horchata Cold Brew. It is dairy free and slightly sweet, definitely delicious. I appreciated the aesthetic organization. You can definitely tell this cafe is taken care of and loved.

The cutest and fastest barista in the west! Waze brought me a different way into work today so I wanted to gift myself a little treat for being early. the frenz latte is yummy but the barista was just the sweetest. Made my morning.

Small little coffee shop. They offer outdoor seating. I really wanted to try their strawberry drink but sadly it wasn't available. So... I pivoted to the salted caramel latte. It was delicious and not too sweet. Loved the foam on top!! The barista was super friendly and easy going. Would definitely back to try other things on their menu.

This place is super cute! It's a super small cafe at the corner of a plaza. It does have parking which is nice and hard to find in LA.I ordered a salted caramel lattes which was delicious! It had like frenz cream on top which was good! It reminded me of the salted caramel cream cold brew at Starbucks.
