We were here for a team dinner. The restaurant is quite nicely decorated, but nothing to stand out. That is fine though - other things are more important.

The service was fine. Quite attentive, relatively friendly. The drinks were great!

The food, unfortunately, was just OK. I had shrimp tacos and they didn’t really hit any high notes. Nothing wrong or ill cooked, just a bit bland and like warm. Colleagues mainly agreed that it was “fine” or “good enough I guess”. Nothing really shone and it’s all about the food, right?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I had an amazing experience at Frida's Mexican Restaurant in Westwood. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and colorful décor made the place feel welcoming and lively. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do, which added to the overall charm. The food was the real highlight. The guacamole was incredibly fresh—creamy with just the right amount of lime and spice. I tried the molcajete, which came out perfectly plated and packed with flavor. The green sauce was bright and tangy without overpowering the dish. My table also shared the apetizers, and it was tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. Drinks were excellent as well. Their margaritas strike that ideal balance between sweet and tart, and they have a great selection of tequila if you're in the mood for something a bit more special. Prices are fair for the quality, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch, a date night, or a group outing, Frida's delivers a consistently great experience. Highly recommended if you're craving vibrant, flavorful Mexican cuisine in a fun and welcoming setting!

Not all Frida's are the same. I had last been to the location in Glendale part of Americana on Brand. This was an upscale experience. The Westwood location is clearly different offering a more casual experience which I believed took the food down a notch. Service was great.

The burrito was close to inedible. The tres leches was just okay. Margaritas were good as was the service.

Outstanding Mexican cuisine and service couldn't be better. Decor is basic and prices are aggressive.

Was walking down the street with a friend and an older male server catcalled/ whistled at us. It’s incredibly unprofessional and outright sexual harassment.

The food was good. A bit bland. The salsas saved it. Plantains were delish. Our server was a bit gruff. The other support staff was more pleasant.

The food was terrible. I ordered fish tacos and they came out soaking wet. It was impossible to eat like a taco. the tortilla was disintegrating. my husband ordered a steak dish with black beans on the side. the waiter brought out the black beans but not the steak. by the time the steak arrived the beans were cold. he also asked for a diet coke which didn't arrive until he reminded the waiter for the 3rd time and he was half way through his meal. When we complained about my taco being mushy they didn't offer to take it off the bill even though I hardly ate any of it. The restaurant was practically empty but there was a table with 8 ver boisterous men. We had to move to the far end of the restaurant and their conversation which was full of profanities still resonated. We couldn't get out of the restaurant fast enough. I do not recommend this place. It was an awful experience!

Disappointed...after a morning at the Hammer, we were excited about a nearby mexican place and some recent positive reviews...however our experience with the food was disappointing...just really didn't taste very good. We ordered the beef taco's and chilaquiles. Since I didn't like the tacos, ordered the cheese quesadilla...which was good. The server was on his game, and we really appreciated that they didn't charge for the beef taco's...after 2 bites, I didn't finish it.

In LA, the Mexican food is authentic and delicious.
Facility is very attractive, with moderate noise levels providing excellent guamole, soups, and traditional fare .
When in this area, a must stop in.

We love the food but frequently order delivery from various services and HALF THE TIME the orders are incomplete and/or wrong. Tonight they left out the chicken in both of our salads. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Talk about OVER PRICED - yikes 🫠

Got a taco plate, burritos, and guac to go. The rice, guac, and burrito were too salty for me to even eat. The veggie burrito has carrots in it.

Just average, food not tasty at all, not a real mexican
