Not all Frida's are the same. I had last been to the location in Glendale part of Americana on Brand. This was an upscale experience. The Westwood location is clearly different offering a more casual experience which I believed took the food down a notch. Service was great.

Disappointed...after a morning at the Hammer, we were excited about a nearby mexican place and some recent positive reviews...however our experience with the food was disappointing...just really didn't taste very good. We ordered the beef taco's and chilaquiles. Since I didn't like the tacos, ordered the cheese quesadilla...which was good. The server was on his game, and we really appreciated that they didn't charge for the beef taco's...after 2 bites,...

In LA, the Mexican food is authentic and delicious.
Facility is very attractive, with moderate noise levels providing excellent guamole, soups, and traditional fare .
When in this area, a must stop in.
