Calling all Australian’s ??
The team at Gaslighter know how to do breakfast! David, Erica and Liz are awesome hosts. The flat white (yes, they make flat whites) espresso coffee is as close to Australian standards as we have found whilst being in the US. The food is amazing!!!

Loaded tots (a tasty Australian version of an American classic)
It’s worth the visit if you are staying downtown. It really is.

Was not expecting much for it being a hotel restaurant but man was I wrong. Best breakfast burrito I ever had. I got the ultimate breakfast burrito and wow it was so good and tasty. The red sauce that comes with it was also delicious. So glad I ate breakfast

It's a nice little lounge in the hotel lobby. While it isn't like a traditional restaurant, the food is excellent. Expect to sit in a chair or a couch that makes it hard to eat the food, unless you're in the longer table in the middle.
As a chicken keeper and an egg cookbook author, I'm pretty picky about eggs I eat when I'm traveling, but I decided to give the breakfast burrito a try at Gaslighter and I'm so glad I did. It was delicious and a nice portion size. Stuffed with some spicy sausage that gave it just the right amount of sass. The coffee is good, far better than you get at most hotels and the avocado toast was also perfect as a lighter breakfast option. Things like a bagel or yogurt bowl round out the menu. In the lobby of the Wayfarer Hotel, Gaslighter is worth checking out for breakfast if you're in the area.Lisa SteeleAuthor of The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook
