Truly an amazing meal I'll probably think about for the rest of this cold, rainy month of January. We got the grilled freshwater eel and small seafood grill combo and we weren't prepared for how much food it would be! But every bite was divine. The side dishes that came with the small combo (like steamed egg, seafood pancake, and corn cheese) were absolutely delicious and some of the best I've ever had... it's insane how delicious every bite of grilled eel, clam, shrimp, oyster and cheesy scallop was.It was also really fun because they bring you white gloves to pick up opened clams with. It's a cool experience to watch the clams open up and get to pick the meat out immediately. At the end, they bring you 3 different soups. 2 small bowls of soup and 1 large pan of soup. They're absolutely scrumptious and you won't want to put your spoon down!Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've had.The older lady servers are soooooo kind and beautiful people. They're so motherly and cute!6/5 experience!

Do not order their combo menu. I ordered eel combo but the served eel was not fresh. It looks cooked and made in few days ago and frozen. When I order eel again additionally then found the tast of eel is different. It was good and fresh.

I like that this place is nice and cozy, has a very local Korean-insider feel. Love the charcoal. But they didn’t turn on the fans so the smell of the smoke gets on all your clothes and it got so smoky at one point our eyes and lungs were stinging. Their side dishes aren’t as good as the other 조개구이 in K-town if you know where I’m talking about…

I took a taxi from far away and was told that there was no table available because I was only one person eating, then I was ignored. I was looking forward to it, but now I'm sad

Tried the BBQ eel in Korean town.

My local go to spot that doesn’t get too crowded and they hook it up with seafood!

We ordered one small sea food combination and one sirloin beef. I think beef was too expensive. I like the small shell in the sea food combination. Also the free small dishes was good. However it was a little bit too expensive ($150 in total for 3 people), and the waitress cannot understand English……

Food was ok. They don’t speak English so it’s impossible to communicate if you don’t speak Korean. They also didn’t open the fan, with the wind blowing from the open front door, we were just suffocating in the smoke from the grill.

We had the small combo without eel. It’s located a bit outer skirt of Ktown. There were only Koreans when we went there. The shellfish was mostly clam, a bit of mussels with cheese, and 3 medium oysters. Then there was 3-4 shrimps. Other side dishes were more filling obviously. The spicy squid was very delicious. The customer service was meh. They didn’t check the grill much or explain to us what we have to do even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy. We had to figure out ourselves. The steamed egg wasn’t fully cooked; I had to move the pot myself onto the grill to cook the rest.*PSA. Charcoal grill of seafood can leave a strong smell onto your hair and clothing. Be noted.

Food 4/5Service 0/5Atmosphere 4/5Cost: OkayFood was decent but the service does not want me going back. Long story short, we went in for the eel but they told me they only have two left so they were recommending other dishes. We told her we want to order the eel but she told us to consider other dishes. We kept saying we want the eel and only then the lady said we can only order one… when we asked why we couldn’t order two (we had a party of 4), she just said we can only order one so she’ll place one eel… Still don’t get the logic behind that but all good, not going back.

Good amount of seafood with many side dishes. Love the seafood combo with soju. May not be the most kind but still attentive service was a plus

Super delicious! Everything tasted pretty fresh and they assisted in grilling the food for the correct times to ensure nothing overcooked. We got the small combo and it was good for 2 people. I feel like some of the items it comes with depends on what they have at the moment though.
