Absolutely incredible Indian food and spectacular service, really cannot say enough good things about this place. Authentic, fresh, and classic. Delivery is just as good as Dine in.

Went to grab dinner here before a Laker game and absolutely loved it. We ordered the Mekhani chicken, basmati rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas and it was all delicious. We also had a mango lassi and masala tea, which were fantastic. The service was great, super kind man who chatted with us a bit. He kindly gave us some free dessert at the end, which was also delicious (I forgot what it was called but it was shredded carrot in a sweet milk with nuts. So good!). It is cash/Venmo only, so be prepared with either.

I'm not from Los Angeles and this was my first dinner in the city. I want to describe this experience as wonderful. Delicious food and perfect service. Congratulations to whoever cooked but above all to the owner who served us and treated us with extraordinary kindness. I will definitely go back.

Was so glad to see that after years of closure, Gill's finally has returned to downtown. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is not as good. Biggest problem is that despite what they say on Yelp, they do no accept credit cards. So basically they lie & market themselves deceivingly on Yelp. Not cool. Not cool at all. They closed today, but I plan on making a big stink about the lack of credit card payments tomorrow. It's straight garbage to pass the cost along to the customer.

Great food with fairly cheap prices considering LA location. Server was so sweet and gave us and other table free gulab jaman. He also went out of his way to sprint down the block to return a ring to a customer that left it. Food is mild but you can ask for hot. Fresh naan and great flavorful rich sauces only thing is to you may not see the sign for location as it is in a hotel kind of and you must pay cash or venmo.
