Unique flavors, great service, & fun ambiance
Ordered the rocky road and the nuts were completely rancid! Not to be expected after paying nearly 20 bucks for ice cream. Yuck.. Haagan Daz , even Dreyers has better Rocky Road.
Best spot in town. Love the key lime pie
Ginger’s is my go to place for my cheat meals. Unfortunately, today was dealt with utter rudeness, the new lady was just so rude!!! She charged me for the pup cup which I have never been. She was so disrespectful while I requested to try a new flavor. Has been enjoying my experience at ginger’s for almost 8 months since I moved to LA, totally disgusted by her behavior.
Great ice-cream in the Venice / Mar Vista area with very cute patio seating to the side. They have all the traditional favorites but also some great creative flavors, which I love. We prefer this ice-cream place in comparison to Salt & Straw. Highly recommend.
This place is so good. It should be illegal. Whiskey chocolate, ice cream, and chocolate raspberry pops. I think I’m gonna start living in the tent on their front door.
This ice cream shop has a very wide variety of vegan ice cream flavors that are very delicious. I love the local vibe, and I like how they hire kind teenagers. There isn't a vegan flavor thar I do not like. There is a ton of seating outside, which is nice to enjoy with the family.
We are neighbors and a couple of nights a week we end up at Ginger’s. We love the flavors (specially honey lavender and the millionaire brownie). However, lately we’ve been helped by this blond girl that has the WORST attitude. She’s incredibly cold, always treats you like she would much better be scrubbing floors than helping you. I don’t know her name, but it would be nice to be met with a friendly face than a sour one. I understand they’re busy, but if the customers are being nice - why not be nice back? I don’t understand it 🤷🏻♀️
Ice cream was amazing and was some of the best I have ever had! ( cookies& cream)
lots of street parking around the area, especially towards the evening/night time! good selection of ice creams and even vegan ice cream! a bit pricey for ice cream but i think it’s made up for how large the scoops are. $12 for 2 scoops can be easily split amongst 4 people. their pint/quart to go containers are also glass jars, which also justifies a bit of the price difference. otherwise, average pricing for this area, i highly recommend :)
Dietary restrictions: lots of vegan ice cream!!

Amazing ice creams. Everything tastes good. We enjoyed 4 scoops for each because we couldn't choose two from them.
Strawberry pie and lavender were beautiful. I’ll try brown sugar, cream and S’more next time.

Pretty good, but not great ice cream. I think their main draw is the variety available, including many vegan options, some of which seem decent. The ice cream itself isn't super special but it is solid, and doesn't seem to rely on any gimmick such as weird flavors or being overly sweetened. A bit pricy but what can you expect in this location
