Great little spot in the heart of Highland Park. Dimly lit with an intimate chill vibe. The vinyl theme this bar portrays is cool and laidback and have DJs playing on the regular in the evenings. Only came for a drink, but would be a cool location to come with friends or a significant other and vibe out the groovy tunes they play. Drinks were also top tier as well as their beer on draft. A lot of other spots nearby if you want to bar hop or grab more drinks and food after.
One of the better and quieter stops on the gold line, trains are almost always on time and the station is usually pretty well uo kept with little trash and debris on the platform, I have gone on many trips from here and would recommend people start using the gold line to get anywhere they want as it connects to union station in la.
I had my first date with my boyfriend here 5 months ago, it was a magical night. I live in France and was just in LA to visit a friend, I was about to take my flight back home the next day. Obviously I wasn’t expecting much when I go on this date, I just want to enjoy my trip. However I met Alex, we keep on talking after I went back to France, the first call we had last 4 hours, and soon 8 hours, 16 hours… we spend everyday together now.
