What I like about this soulfood restaurant, they take EBT, Just need to be more light on seasoning such as salt and too much sugar on the the yams and greens, cook the meat a bit more tender. I have family with diabetes. Other than that the food is pretty decent.

Mac+cheese was ok, wish it had more cheesy goodness in it and it was a bit bland. Made me a bit sad.
Cabbage was great. Greens were a bit too sweet to my liking, because I love how it cuts against the super sweet yams. Good thing I didn’t get the yams this time around.
The turkey wing was perfect. I don’t like bbq sauce on mine so I got the regular. Great decision on my part haha.
The pork neck was good but I need to see a bit more meat pieces from the bottom of the sauce. I’m shocked I didn’t get some of the goodness in the gravy it’s sitting in and usually much of the meat is fallen off into the bottom. I will ask next time. That’s my bad.

Great food ?
I ordered meatloaf greens, mac & cheese, and yams. The meatloaf tasted like someone put a whole bottle of salt in it. It was horrible y’all need to reconsider about making that meatloaf. Maybe you should test it to make sure it’s edible to eat and I give people high cholesterol or high blood pressure, horrible service.

I didn't like anything I got except the peach cobbler. The fish (fillet sole) was salty as hell, yams didn't have enough seasoning & the macaroni was just terrible. They get mad if you tell them the food wasn't good on instagram. They block you and delete it. So be mindful if you're ordering from them
Drove 30mins there on a Sunday at 1pm and they was closed smfh
Stopped by yesterday, based off prior Instagram reviews and I had been wanting to try this place. I work close to the location and was driving by and decided to stop. Got me and my mom a lunch plate. I was so disappointed in the meat we chose. My mom got the turkey wings with two sides and I got the bbq pig feet. LA Try Guy did a review on the pig feet, so I said, “why not?” His looked so tender when he bit into it. On the other hand, mine weren’t so tender. In fact, they were very tough to pull from the bone. I had such a hard time eating them, that my mom suggested I put them in the oven when I get home. I didn’t want to do that, I’m on lunch now and I have food at home. She had the turkey wings and when I say they were so salty. I don’t know if it was just this day that the meats weren’t too appeasing to the appetite, but it wasn’t to ours. Now don’t get me wrong. The flavor on my pigs feet were good and her turkey wings were cooked well, but mine needed to be cooked a little longer and hers, less seasoned. Now the sides (mac n cheese, yams and cabbage) were delicious. Oh, and my kool aid. I’m not saying I won’t be back. I’m going to give it another try one day and hope that my meat (pig feet) are tender next time. This time, not so pleased with all the hype.
