Guerilla Tacos is well known for its creativity and bursting flavors. Although the founder, Wes Avila, left in 2020, its tacos are still going strong. Taco Tuesday of $5 per taco is an even better reason to visit.Our favorite was possibly the Baja Fried Fish. The large chunk of fried rock cod was quite meaty and tender. Second was Picadillo Pocho or wild boar, ground and served in a crispy taco shell topped with cheese. We wish that the wild boar wasn't ground but it was still pretty tasty. Third was the Herb Roasted Sunchoke topped with mole amarillo. The sunchoke is a pretty unique vegetable and tastes similar to potato. Last was the Sweet Potato which was still great but I think we're just biased as meat lovers, some may be divided by the choice of leaving skin on the sweet potato.Service seemed like things were cooked to order so be a little patient. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet but we did come close to closing time

An upscale Mexican restaurant tucked away in the Arts District with an amazing menu. The flavors are bright and warm leaving you feeling satisfied and comforted. They are flexible for dietary restrictions and have options for vegans. 2 tacos were more than enough for me.

Great environment, food is delicious. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Lomosaltado taco is ?. Order a seasonal agua fresca and for the grand finale a tres leches cake. Happy

We are regulars and though we come in scruffy from work, the staff treat us like royalty. Food is gourmet Mexican with always a unique twist with layers of subtle flavor. This ain't no taco truck so crack open the wallet but worth it. Love you guys!

Friendly staff with a large indoor and small outdoor space. Parking lot across the street. Delicious and inventive food, worth the trip. Other cool bars in the area if you want to hang out.
