Beware this place closes when they want to close; the 6PM advertised close time is mostly wrong. Always call before you go to make sure they are open. It's very wrong that they do this to their customers but it's good food for a good price. So as long as you know this, all will be good.
Hands down the best Wonton soap in Los Angeles. You can watch them make it eight in front of you, each dish you ordered. They dont take oders over the phone to many pranks, small mom and pop shop a bit of a wait but worth it.

I never would have noticed this dive, let alone walked into it, if I hadn't heard about it. This hole-in-the-wall is tucked into an old strip mall on the north east corner of Pico and Spaulding and looks like it hasn't been updated for half a century.
