My friend swears by this place, so here we came on a Sunday night, 5-12-2024. We ordered mushroom chicken (aka moo goo gai pan... my friend is Caucasian), and a sizzling plate of shrimp with garlic sauce. Mushroom chicken was fine. The shrimp sizzling plate was served up on a Stone Cold plate with sliced raw onion and no Sizzle. The server just pour the plate of shrimp into the iron plate, shrugged and walked away, never to be seen again. Hop Li? I would Hop Away.

The most disrespectful man works there as a manager or something. I do not expect any especial behavior from not young tired man. Probably he’s hate all people and just his life.

I came here to order food. The service was disgusting. All the employees especially the guy at the front treated everyone in my party very poorly and made us feel very unwelcome. The food was terrible. I do not recommend coming here

This is the only place we go to for Chinese food for many reasons! Unfortunately with our lifestyle we can't eat out too much so we always take the food to-go and it still tastes great! They poke holes to allow fried food to vent which is always very thoughtful! They're always so quick to prepare the food as well We normally get their lo mein, honey walnut shrimp, beef broccoli, Mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, spicy eggplant, tangerine beef, and sizzling rice soup! Flavor of everything is so good! I'm always so grateful to the workers because they always help me carry our food the car when I'm by myself with my toddler. You don't understand how appreciative I am to have them always help me. Definitely stop by and you'll have a great experience whether you dine in or take out!

The moment I walked in there, I just said “hello” the owner looked at me and said “hello goodbye!”, “goodbye”, “I’m busy, goodbye”, and then told me to leave for literally walking in and saying hello. There’s a reason why it’s empty. The guy running the place is extremely rude and unwelcoming to guests and it seems like a discriminatory way to treat someone who could have been a potential customer walking in the door. He had no reason to treat me like that and he was disrespectful and rude to me. I didn’t say anything but “Hello”. There’s something wrong with this owner, and I hope no one will be treated like that in the future.

Very very bad experience, customer service is terrible, that Chinese man is rude, he doesn't want to sell, he discriminates against people for not knowing English. He is always in a bad mood, I have never been treated as badly as in that

I'm there on a Friday dinnertime, waiting to pick up a takeout. Restaurant empty. Not a soul. A young man, delivery service driver, enters and shows cellphone pickup details to the restaurant man. The man quizzes the driver for more info. Driver says sorry, i dont speak English. Man says you lie. Man was very rude, and for what? Told the driver not to come back. Driver leaves, and man, whose English was not great BTW, continues his rant to me about the driver. I told man he was rude. I'm not going back.

we have eaten at Hop Li for years. The last 2 times the food was vile. I decided to give it another try and it was inedible. Soooo salty and really horrible not to mention it was not hot when we got it home. We live very close to the restaurant. We ordered Beef with pan fried noodles the beef tasted like it had be boiled that was disgusting. Sweet and sour chicken.................seriously, the chicken was fried pieces in a separate container ( chicken McNuggets) and the sweet and sour sauce was in another container that was some kind of thick sweet horrible sauce with chunks of green pepper in it. fried rice terrible. The only thing edible were the chicken potstickers and they were cold. Maybe it under new owners but the food was the worst I've had. Also, not the friendliest peops. We will never go there again. Don't waste your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Take out. Only fair! Very bland! I would not order from here again! We had spare ribs. They were dry with no sauce on them. Scallops in lobster sauce. The dish had no taste and was very watery. Fried rice. Very bland. A mixed vegetable with bok choy and mushrooms. Very bland.. Very watery. No taste. Some kind of sweet chicken. (I did not do the ordering so I'm not sure which one it was). Very sticky and bland. Nothing to remember. They also had no hoisen sauce and gave us no soy sauce, even though we requested.Take out Merry Christmas! I hope this is helpful!

Love this spot, hidden gem. Recommend the honey walnut shrimp, steamed fish, chicken chow mein and chicken friend rice. Service was a bit surly, we heard the waiter tell this table who was trying to alter the dish "No Salt No Taste" we were cracking up! Old school feel inside with the big round tables that have lazy Susan's, booths. The steamed fish was fantastic! The parking in the plaza is a bit small so it's best to carpool if you can.

This was our fourth or fifth time ordering from here, but likely our last. Food was OK but not as good as before. What was not OK was the service. I placed my order online for pickup and when I arrived, there was not a single employee visible in the restaurant. There was a plastic sign on a table in front of the entrance that read "Wait here for orders" and I waited, but nobody appeared. After several minutes, I finally took a few steps around the table to see if I could find anyone. Still nobody. Finally, an older man appeared and angrily asked what I was doing there. I said I was there to pick up my order. He said "Read the sign" and when I said I didn't move immediately, he pointed to the door and repeated "Read the sign and then I will talk to you." I moved back to the door and waited and after a few minutes he took my name and gave me my order (a bag which had been sitting on the table since the moment I entered). I don't need a red carpet when picking up takeout, but for the prices they charge, I have absolutely no reason to go back. Simply not worth it.
