Chef Yama-San is incredibly talented. He’s so warm and friendly unlike many other sushi chefs. His kaiseki is one of the best I’ve had in Los Angeles. My husband and I discovered Yamakase in 2020 and have been going back regularly ever since. An absolute staple when it comes to top kaiseki meals in LA!
Food is always delicious and plentiful, chef is super friendly and welcoming! Service is excellent, and water and drinks keep flowing without hesitation. Ambiance is quiet and peaceful, you can engage with the chef and your party very easily. I have been here a few times, and every time I have an amazing and enjoyable experience with my friends and guests.
