50 Best Hot Dogs in Los Angeles

“Oh boy!!!! That hot dog with onions chili and pastrami!!!!!! Fire!!!!! Those onions are incredible sabrett onions were never that good. I had the salmon burger with onions the onions took over the burger but it was still good next time no cooked onions. The chicken patty has good flavor just wanted more filling. The beef pattie was ok. The fries were decent I would get them more well done next time... but can we please gst back to this hot dog creation and that salmon burger!!!! I will be back before i head to the airport for those for sure and the chicken patty!“

“we were visiting universal studios in LA from the UK and being 2 vegetarians, we were a bit unsure on how our hot dogs would taste. we needn't of worried. with all the toppings or without, the veggie sausage was awesome! also, being from the UK, I queried what funnel cake was to our server, as I had seen it a few times in LA. he explained and it sounded interesting, so I said if I had room afterwards, I may try it. whilst eating our meal the lovely server bought 1 over to try for free! super nice food and the staff are the icing on the cake. highly recommend for something quick and filling and reasonably priced on the universal city walk.“

The grill is right at the front of the stand and you can watch them work their magic as they prepare your food. A must experience for classic Los Angeles food experiences.“

“80% of the time I get a bacon wrapped hot dog from LA, i get sick; regardless of whether they are a truck or a cart.

Brothers hotdogs has NEVER gotten me sick. This is the ONLY place i get my bacon wrapped hot dogs.

Other food items they offer are pretty good too. If its not a hotdog, its a mulita, breakfast burrito, or quesadilla.

They make the food right in front of you; other trucks are behind closed doors or covered windows.

“Best place to take a date for a glizzy. The atmosphere is amazing, I like how when you come in the front door it looks like there’s nothing there then you walk towards the hall after taking your order and it’s massive and people are just relaxed. It is a much more mature place to come and get a drink.

I’ve tried the majority of their products, I love the rattlesnake and rabbit. The fries are amazing and the beer selection is out of this world.“

“When we came in here after 8 PM there was only one other party here. The guy behind the counter was polite and explained the menu. I enjoyed the lobster bun with most of the toppings. The main problem was my friend ordered his with a regular bun and it was stale and sucked so bad that he had to throw the bun away. The person who did the prep should realize this and offer something better if what they have is not fresh.“

“Absolutely amazing! The owner is so so sweet. Food comes out fast in the Korean corndogs are lightly battered to perfection. Highly recommend going here and getting all their different Korean corn dogs but also they’re soddeock.“

“Maaaaan if the burgers and fries didn’t hit as hard as they do, I’d say just pass on it but in complete honesty, they make delicious greasy spoon munchies. It’s literally just a walk-up counter, but they’re local favorites for a reason.

Downsides include how early they close, limited street parking, cold customer service (at times condescending), no dine-in service, horrible atmosphere since there’s no safe space for people to wait for their orders. Lastly, I think their prices are a bit too high for this area/financial climate… in my opinion of course.

Funny thing is, their food overshadows ALL THIS. 😩 It’s so good and I crave it often. Wish they’d be open later 👀😔😒“

“Look: It’s been a minute since a burrito slayed me, but Lupita’s did. The al pastor with salsa verde, avocado, and cheese (sour cream is also included, but I thought that would be too much) was incredible. Add in some friendly service and this is a great stop if you’re downtown!“

I had a chicken taco with tortilla chips, one person had a chicken wrap with a bowl of fruit, another person had a steak quesadilla, 4th person had fish taco with beans and rice, and fifth person had an eggs, bacon, hash browns and French toast breakfast. “Cant speak for the hot dogs but the tacos, burritos, quesadillas and especially the tortas are EXCELLENT. Friendly workers and you can tell from the lunch crowds that they’re legit when local workers come to eat here regularly. The torta comes with well buttered and roasted bread with cheese melted down on the griddle and there’s a lot of meat which is a key for me cuz I don’t like tortas with pathetic amounts of meat. Just had their flautas today, delicious.

Parking: Metered parking but you can park at one of the many empty ones nearby and won’t get ticketed if you’re just grabbing food“
