Great food

Restaurant located in the UCLA area. We went there for several reasons, proximity to our hotel, high reviews and to watch World Cup soccer game. We ordered lamp mandi, chicken mandi, haneeth “lamp in foil” which is a main Yemeni dish. For the haneeth lamp, the lamp wasn’t marinated the way usually it should be and there want large chunks of potato in and the rice wasn’t the longest grain, but overall it was good. Both other dishes were better “Mandi dishes”. For me, watching World Cup game and the atmosphere was the best experience 😊. There’s a prayer area in the restaurant which is amazing!

Mesad made this dining experience outstanding. He is everything you could ask for in a restaurant employee—friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel valued and taken care of. His positive attitude and excellent customer service truly made the restaurant a better place.

Honestly, Mesad is the main reason I’ll be coming back. Employees like him are hard to find, and he deserves recognition for the way he treats customers. Thank you, Mesad, for going above and beyond and making our visit such a great experience!

Delicious Yemeni food, I loved fattoush salad - fresh and delicious- Ahmed’s attitude is delightful as a server and brings genuine joy to the room. I will definitely come back to try al the other dishes !! :)
