Have supported this boba shop several times now and the stand-out drink is definitely the Chichi Mango with Cloud! The fruit is fresh (you can literally taste how fresh it is) and the flavor combination is perfection - good balance of sweet, tart, and textures for you to chew on. I've drank this throughout the winter, but can see how it is even MORE delicious and refreshing on a hot LA summer day. I've seen several mentions of sushi on here, but have never actually seen it when I order, so I don't think it's available anymore - just a heads up. I will continue to come back to try some of the other fruit drinks, as I think they are definitely the thing to get here.

My fav fruit tea place of all time! Not too sweet and no artificial taste. The ingredients are fresh and the menu has many options (range from $4-$6)! Some of my fav from here: -Peach Perfect w cloud -passion avocado smash w cloud -strawberry mango -chichi strawberry Love the fruit bits and their cloud compliments the drinks really well :)

Don't judge me I'm doubling up. Yeah they're both for me! I could make up my mind as they have a ton of choices but the nicest staff! Atticus who was my barista helped me choose as I wanted something "not too sugary"... I wanted tart for the fruit and still love my milk tea as a vehicle to hold my boba! Amazing customer service he didn't seem irritated with my indecisiveness at all (my constant state of existence) and he made perfect suggestions! This will be a regular stop for me!

Okinawa Milk Tea Boba (8.5/10) Both this and the golden oolong bobas have a caramel-y taste to them. Very good! Good sweetness level too. Chi Chi Mango (9/10) Their fruit drinks are bomb! With fresh fruits and a natural sweetness to them, I think this is Ichi's specialty. Would go back!! I've always really enjoyed milk teas, but I'm trying to transition to liking fruit teas as well! Mostly because some places are better for their fruit teas, and I'd really like to enjoy what their recipes have to offer my tastebuds as well! Westwood, and West LA in general, isn't known for having the best boba places, but I think Ichi gives a satisfying UCLA touch. I love the drinks here, and I crave it when I need to study and need a feeling of productivity and relief. I think Ichi has such an interesting personality as store (lol)! Make sure to check out their drink shaker. It's so cool!! I'd rate this place 9/10! Tip: I think their stamp cards are really such a nice deal. If you get 5 drinks, you get 1 free! (Normally, boba places have "Buy 10, Get 1 Free" stamp cards.)

This is entirely based off of one fruit tea experience. If you're going to put fruit in a tea, please cut it smaller than the straw,. I'd say greater than 50% of the fruit was left in the bottom of the cup at the end because it could not physically fit up the straw. At $6 a drink, this is unacceptable.

This is hands down my favorite boba spot in westwood now. It is just so great quality and delicious and not sickly sweet and the owner is so friendly. I have tried their brown sugar boba milk tea, their caramel boba milk tea and their hokkaido milk tea, with crystal boba. Mindblowing. They were just so good and their milk teas are less sweet than other places which I appreciate. I've not really had a hokkaido milk tea that's good before. But this place is good. Because hokkaido milk tea is usually sweeter than regular milk tea I'd get it with a lower sweetness level if you're one who prefers less sweet milk tea. I do, so I had mine at 50% and it was perfect for me. Their crystal boba is worth trying out, it went well with the Hokkaido milk tea.

This place is so good! Every drink is specially crafted and has all fresh ingredients. I was really impressed with their drink menu, you can select so many types of teas. I can't wait for their food menu, you can tell they put a lot of effort in their quality. Everyone at my office comes here a few times a week now. This place is a must if you haven't had it yet

Who let me sleep on this place?? I was under the impression that good boba only existed 20 miles away in the 626 until I finally randomly tried Ichi today! 3 qualities signaled to me that this place is elite: 1) their cups are super nice quality and thick, 2) their fruity tea selection is enormous and they use REAL fruits, & 3) they offer crystal agar boba (my latest obsession)! Call me weird, but that's how I judge my boba places, haha. Their tea flavor is also strong enough for me (I don't like artificial sugary water tasting stuff), and some of their other flavors look super fancy, such as the chichi strawberry. Watermelon tea: BEST decision ever. Watermelon is super refreshing and pairs perfectly with green tea. This is actually made with real watermelon so there are smushed watermelon pieces in the drink. The drink uses the natural sweetness of the watermelon to sweeten it, so I didn't need any sugar adjustments, so I was told by Atticus. Agar boba is really great with fruity drinks because it's far less calories than regular boba, keeps your mouth busy if you're used to drinking boba, and doesn't taste like much. I'm torn... I don't know if I should keep ordering this perfect drink or try other fun flavors on the menu! Rewards program: Every 6th drink is a free drink!! That will be super attainable, compared to the usual 10 at other tea places. I was given a stamp card without asking. Thanks Atticus for being patient with my when I was overwhelmed my first time by the expansive menu! He really knows the menu well and helped answer some of my questions. I'll be back... probably tomorrow haha!
