The bharwan aloo was raw. How can you send uncooked food ? Never seen such a thing before. Fish vindaloo was okay.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant in Brentwood, located on the second floor, so you get somewhat of a view if you sit by the window. Their papadum was delicious, and their onion bhaji was even better. Amazingly seasoned, crunchy batter on the outside and soft on the inside. They're served with tamarind sauce. I recommend the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala: white tender pieces of chicken in a creamy tomato sauce. Only downside is you have to order a side of rice - it seems no dish comes with a side of rice anymore. The atmosphere was great, they played Indiana music to set the vibes. The food came surprisingly fast and fresh - great staff!
Parking: They validate at the restaurant.

First time here at Sham's India's Oven. My friend works in this medical building and recommended having dinner here. The restaurant validates parking if you park in the building. Entrance to the parking is from Barry, just north of Wilshire. It is a bit tricky to find.
We shared the Onion Bhaji as an appetizer as well as Spinach Naan. We enjoyed these!
We all enjoyed our food, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegetarian dinner set!
The staff tonight did not wear a uniform, so I wasn't sure who was staff or a guest. I saw a a few Take Out orders, which was good, because on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't busy. I always like to support local small businesses.
View from the restaurant is of Wilshire.
Interior is very nice!

Ordered from them by mistake. They had their address and phone number on our favorite Indian restaurant website. A real Shame. The food was horrible. Asked for mild it was very spicy. Just a total waste

Happened to find this place by chance and a previous reviewer had left a great review - we agree! We visited LA on a trip and this place was genuinely good - ordered kadhai paneer, dal tadka, tandoori roti and naan and jeera rice. Our waiter personalized recommendations for us which we really appreciated! Great place overall - if you happen to be in the area, give them a try!

We stumbled upon this place during our LA trip and were pleasantly surprised. Initially, we were a bit hesitant, but the food was absolutely phenomenal! Our group of 5 ordered the Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, and Naan. Every dish was incredibly flavorful and the portion sizes were generous. The Dal Makhani was the standout - rich, creamy, and simply divine. The staff was friendly and attentive. If you're in LA, this is a must-try!
