The coffee tasted like what the typical Silver Lake coffee spots offer, nothing special, just overpriced. The pastries looked fresh. It's a great spot though to study for a couple hours.

The LA Times features Intelligentsia on their “This Must Be Silver Lake” guide and I was soooo excited for it but ultimately left a little disappointed. I got the smoked maple latte, which was not very strong in the coffee or maple directions. The coffee did have light chocolate notes, but it was very light — tasted like sweet milk.
