Friendly owners, torta de Asada really tasty.
This place is truly a gem! They have delicious tortas that you can buy as a meal with chips and a drink.
They also sell Aguas Frescas that come in different sizes, ready to serve! Check them out behind Mariachi Plaza!

I would recommend having the pierna tort a it’s my absolute favorite I’ve been going there for years even now that I live in upland I still go by for the awesome food and friendly locals
People need to relax with over hyping basic places
I have been coming to the shop since I was a teenager and I can't believe I didn't write a review sooner. Iove their tortas, they are made with so much love & presented with perfection. The meat is tender and juicy always. My mom also loves them, she says they remind her of ones she had growing up in Mexico. They sell plenty of delicious options as well. Ranging from ice cream, nachos, smoothies etc. If you're ever in Boyle Heights I highly recommend it's definitely a gem & it will forever be my favorite place to grab a torta. Inside you'll find seating and the walls are filled with artwork. Every time I eat inside they have amazing customer service 10/10 will recommend.
I really love the food here good walking distance for me as well, the owner is really nice.
