Good portions and great service. Really tasty and reasonably priced. Loved the soups and Spicy Pork. Fried Sole was also very good.

For years, I have been looking for a nice bean paste stew tasting like homemade one and I finally succeeded at JangAn! I have had bean paste stews at many other places yet they were not as natural and comforting as I hoped but JangAn gave me that! Ukgaejang was really amazing, too. It’ll be our new spot to come back and try other menus as well!

Our First visit to KTown. We feel Lucky to find this wonderful lil spot for lunch. Food was fantastic. Authentic cuisine! Great and friendly service. Lived in Pyeongtaek, lunched in Seoul on many occasions. Flavors and taste brought us back 😋. Recommend for quality and price as well as service.

I went sightseeing in LA and was getting tired of the greasy food, but when I saw the sign, I went in as if I had found an oasis. I had pork kimchi stew and brisket soybean paste stew and it was really delicious. I was reminded of home-cooked meals and my discomfort eased. Next time I come to LA, I want to visit again :)

The food is clean and tastes like old-fashioned soybean paste.

Mediocre food and abysmal service but yet have audacity to ask for higher tips when the customers are leaving. It's not a place for an enjoyable meal unless you like a hot and stuffy restaurant with servers pressuring you for tips.

After refilling the radish greens twice, my impression changed completely haha. Then, there were so many other side dishes that my chopsticks could fit.

A hidden gem in Koreatown. I'm just thankful that restaurants like this continue to survive these days. I had pork bulgogi and brisket soybean paste and it was very delicious. You can use soybean paste with other anchovies or mix it as it has a deep flavor. The pork bulgogi seems to have less meat than before, but it's still delicious.
He pours the water himself and is friendly, but he's not the type of person who goes out of his way to ask for things he needs first. I think they were probably considerate while talking. The place is small, but there weren't many customers on a weekday, so we ate right away without having to wait.

The real taste of home...the taste of Korea. If you go to LA, stop by and you won't regret it.

Parking: Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.

Small restaurant, hidden gem. But food is delicious and definitely recommend. Prices are reasonable, and seems to be independently owned.

Really good food. Simple menu, so you can't go wrong with anything. A small restaurant that deserves all the customers it can get. A high recommend!

I heard about this place from my friend and had high expectations for the daenjang jjigae, but I was somewhat disappointed. The stew, while comforting like a simple homemade meal, was a bit plain for the price. I was hoping for a richer, more flavorful one. The side dishes were diverse and tasted great.

If I visit again, I'll try the lunch special spicy BBQ with lettuce instead.
