Overlay the food was good and the staff were great and welcoming. The Barg Kabab was great as well as chicken Kabab. The koobideh has room for improvement.
Beautiful and clean restaurant, the staff are amazing and courteous! My daughter and I were fasting since it's Ramadan and they brought the food quickly and efficiently!
This restaurant was so good! Khoshmazzeh bood! The service was amazing. Alex brought everything out quickly and everything tasted so amazing.
Victor (sp?) was awesome and our food was delicious. First time there was a great experience. I had Cornish hen with date and lentil rice and my partner had a chicken koobideh. Both were excellent. Finished the meal with baklava. Everything was great.

Some honestly great Persian cuisine in West LA. It’s really close to my work so I stop in often for lunch and every time it is consistently really good. It’s very large on the inside so they can host many different sized parties and it is never cramped. Each time we have been, the service has been really great and the whole staff is always really polite. They also are quick with the drink refills which I really appreciate. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot but street parking is very easy to find in this part of town.
They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of Persian classics. For my most recent visit, I ordered the Kashk O Bademjan as my starter, which I thought was really good. It’s nice to mix up appetizers instead of getting hummus every time. For my entrée I chose the Kobideh with a side of rice and salad. It’s basically like a Persian meatball in the shape of a kebab. Honestly really delicious in flavor and something I order often and would highly recommend. They also bring out free wraps and onions, which I love. They don’t skimp on the portion sizes either, and you will not leave hungry.
Overall some delicious person food in a casual setting in a quieter part of Los Angeles. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid Middle Eastern meal and I plan to be back many times in the future.
Parking: most likely paid metered street parking

The food was delicious, and our server had great suggestions for what to order. My only real issue is that their menu is quite confusing, and it took our party some time to figure out how to interpret it.
Today, I ordered takeout and asked for kebab + rice with cherries. When I got home, I saw that it was just plain rice without cherries. I paid $33, which isn't worth it. The main issue is that the receipt said rice with cherries.

Authentic persian experience at Javan is not comparable to any other experience. Very nicely prepared fresh kababs and fluffy rice.

We have been visiting Javan any time we stop in LA and did the same during our last visit. The food quality was terrible and was not in a level we used to see during our last trips. We will not GO BACK in no circumstances. The servant and receptionist were both polite and were doing their best but the food was by far worst Persian food we tried in LA and the price was very high comparing to the rest of similar places

Have Tried their chicken Soltani and Javan combo, quality wise it’s up there with the big names. Taste profile was surprisingly good compared to the 90% of Persian restaurants in LA.
Overall a good Persian restaurant. We’ll be back to try more of their menu.
Also, Victor was super professional and cool.
Barg kabob was the highlight of the show for sure.
Thank you Javan restaurant and thank you Victor.

This was my second time being here and I wish I could upload my video of the delicious food that was served. The food was amazing. I devoured it. I had the sirloin steak with rice and salad. The steak was cooked to perfection and everything was delectable. The ambiance was very relaxing. I do miss the pianist from the first time I came but everything was still wonderful. The cherry on top was the service. Victor is such a wonderful waiter. He made sure that I was satisfied with everything. He was very helpful with explaining the dishes and helping me pick exactly what I was craving. Wonderful service with a giant smile. I will definitely be back! Thank you for everything Victor!
