I'd leave zero stars if I could. Came here on a Thursday to get order a gift box for pick up 2 days later on a Saturday. Confirmed TWICE on the day that I placed my order with employee or owner that I'd pick up on Saturday. Come Saturday I went to go pick up my order and she said the order was for pick up on Sunday even though the receipt said Saturday. I asked if she could put something together really quick when because it was clear to me that there were A LOT of extra dduk for sale BUT SHE SAID NO. Everything here looks mid as f*ck at best. I recommend taking your business elsewhere if you don't want them to mess up your order.

Their crab GimBab, rainbow rice cake, mung bean flour rice cake, and rice wine rice cake taste good. I liked their $20 tray for GimBab and rice cakes, and now they cost $30. I requested rainbow rice cake cut in pieces for many people to taste pieces, but they did not cut it, and the lady in the shop did not do anything. Despite no delivery and often not existing service that make me look for other options keenly, their food tends to taste good so far, and I am glad that they made through COVID.

The ingredients for the kimbap were not fresh and the taste was not too good. The price is expensive and it's hard to taste gimbap....I was very disappointed.

It's not delicious. I'll just stop eating it again. It's so half-hearted and I don't know if it's rice or bread. In short, it's completely tasteless. You can't be too haphazard.

The Yakwa here is delicious, not too oily and thick. The downside is that you can't pay by card

One of the best tasting Korean rice cakes in LA or in the United States (good portion too compared to other places in Koreatown) My favorite is the pumpkin baeksulgi (white rice cake with pumpkin and black beans) very delicious and chewy, not too sweet at all.If you're sweet tooth person, I recommend getting kkul ddeok , both are really yummy Grab your rice cakes here at Jihwaja for yourself or gifting anyone you think of right now... I highly recommend this place.

I bought it at 8:00 in the morning, but the rice was hardened and seemed to be on the verge of spoiling, so I threw it away. Are you selling something that wasn't sold the day before?
