Family-owned John O'Groats is a gem of a restaurant. The dining guests are Los Angeles' finest. I stopped in again today for brunch and spoke with several other guests, who were beyond delightful. The food is excellent and the waiting staff is good, too. The waiters do not tend to ask if everything is okay after the meal is delivered, and no one refilled my coffee, unfortunately. But putting that aside, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the laughter, the biscuits-and-gravy...

I’ve been coming here for a while now, so I can give an honest review.
The food is always great especially the quality, the staff are amazing, and you can really tell the place is well run.

Wow. I came to this place because of a dear friend who I was supposed to meet for lunch but accidentally came a week earlier for the luncheon. I decided to eat here since I drove all the way, anyway.
Everything about this place is good. It is a neighborhood favorite for forty-three years.
