Pasta was good, I wish the portions were bigger. Cant say I get the hype, but it’s pretty good. Fun to color too lol.

Lively neighborhood spot that has a buzzing dining room, italian american food that is rich and with a lot of the traditional flavors, my favs there are the pastas, although the pizza is not bad either, the servers are friendly, very attentive you can go for both casual dinners and if celebrating something, the portions are filling so no issues there.

The manager at the Fairfax location was very attentive. Our party was seated 30 ninutes after our reservation because they were so busy and he made sure we were taken care of. He kept us informed and offered us appetizers on the house to be served as soon as we were seated The food was exceptional, especially the fusilli. Overall, great food and great experience!

My friend and I came here for the first time and loved the food.

My one qualm was getting a small (seemed even smaller than a small) sake for $13.00.

We both loved not only the food and layout, but service. Not long after we sat down, a person in an SUV turned on and left on their highlights hitting us directly in our faces. I asked if the shades could be drawn and they immediately took care of it. Not only that, but for about 30 seconds the cook stood staring at the driver, giving them the stink-eye. 🥰

Loved the food but hated the waiter he had a bit of an attitude & felt uncomfortable, the female waitress and hostess were lovely and nice.

Jon & Vinny’s absolutely lives up to the hype. I ordered the spicy rigatoni and the LA Woman pizza and both were unreal.

The rigatoni was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat and richness. The LA Woman pizza was light, flavorful, and balanced, easily one of those pizzas you keep thinking about after you leave.

Comfort food done properly, elevated without trying too hard. Great vibe, smooth service, and a place I would happily come back to over and over.

After lots of TikTok’s suggesting me this place… honestly it was a really good recommendation, I got the spicy fusilli and the sauce was really good. The server suggested a dessert and oh wow that was also really good. I’ll be back for the pizza and the rest of the pastas for sure.

Jon & Vinny’s Melrose offers a really good dining experience. The food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable, making it great value for what you get. The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. A solid spot for a satisfying meal!

I didn’t eat here but I was doing doordash and ended up waiting 30+ minutes for 1pizza that takes 5 minutes to cook. Will personally never support the business. Not even attempting to complete doordash orders like the people standing outside trying to pay their bills and feed their families don’t matter

This restaurant has really good food and outstanding service. We were a group of 6 people and we got our food quickly. There was no push to leave, which was nice. Seating is limited and parking is hard to find. It was really challenging when we were there because of something having a grand opening nearby, with a long line. We used the valet for a nearby restaurant, though, and that worked well.

The chicken paillard gave me salmonella. I was a frequent customer of theirs, but this place has completely fallen off. It’s turned into a factory/cafeteria — caring more about volume than quality.

Food and service were really great.

Only thing is I'd make sure you specifically ask where you will sit if you make a reservation for 5-6 people. They placed us on a booth that was way too small for us. They should at least warn you and let you decide if you're ok with such a cramped space.
