The attention from servers is great it feels like if you are at someone's home with very nice grandmas caring for you. We ordered the Sogogi Suyug plater (beef), and the Ujok Suyug plater (tendon) we also ordered the Galbi Tang soup and the Sukkur Sullung Tang soup. Both have beef but the soup base is different one is more fatty rich and the other one is more light and clear but both flavorful and different noodles. Rice comes with your meal along with Kim chi and other sides. The space is small and you may have to wait to be seated. We were lucky to avoid the lunch time crowd. Price was good for what we got.

Craving homey, flavorful, and authentic Korean meal? Look no further than JunTong SulLungTang! This cozy hole-in-the-wall delivers on the most amazing Sul Lung Tang (Korean Ox Bone Soup)!
Located in a free parking lot (a rarity in Ktown), this unassuming restaurant is small but cozy. The interior is simple and unassuming but the food packs a punch!
Their Sul Lung Tang is flavorful, rich, and simmered to authentic perfection. You can season it to your liking and add as few or as many green onions as you prefer. The banchan (side dishes) are simple but tasty. The kimchi is just … yum! Whether you are under the weather, feeling like eating something homey, or looking for your next authentic Korean meal, JunTong SulLungTang will most certainly satisfy your cravings!
The staff is extremely nice and friendly. They are also attentive despite always being busy.
Overall, JunTong SulLungTang is a not-so-hidden gem for authentic Korean food that won’t disappoint!

Don't come to JunTong expecting something fancy. Instead, it is a casual restaurant which serves up comfort food like pork rib noodle soup (galbitang). The flavor of the soup is very balanced and tasty. I also liked the kimchi and the radish appetizers; they were high quality.
Location is hard to find parking, but anyone can take the bus!

The food is really good. The host is so kind and friendly. My daughter even got a red envelope during the Lunar New Year. Really appreciated! This meal makes a perfect ending to our LA trip🙏🏻

I am a regular at this place. I have been coming for years and have written a few reviews. I really like it, but I feel like it has gone downhill the past few months. The sulongtang broth just isn't the same as it used to be. It's more watery and doesn't have that "cling" to your lips and mouth that always made it so delicious. They are probably not boiling it as long or taking shortcuts. The kimchi is still standout - among the very best I've had in LA. Having said this, I still think it's still delicious. And I do also want to complement the friendly service, with the ajuma always keeping my kimchi dish filled

There are so many people, but they are so kind.
I was hungry a while back in New Jersey.
My family of four wanted to try different places while we were in New Jersey.
I ordered 3 dishes at a naengmyeon restaurant.
I was scolded by the owner for asking me to order 3 dishes for 4 people...
Today, I forgot about that for a moment and just got off the plane and didn't have an appetite, but I had to feed the kids, so I ordered 3 pieces~~~
However, I was grateful that they accepted my order so kindly.
When I came to the hotel and thought about it, I compared it to New Jersey~~^^
Thanks to you, I had a comfortable and delicious meal.
Needless to say, the food was so delicious.♡♡
