Just What I Kneaded

Got a pumpkin pie puff pastry, a savory sausage pie and the blueberry cinnamon bun. So good!!! The location was super cute as well. The frosting on the cinnamon bun was amazing. Good place to stop if you’re heading up the 5 freeway and need a treat😄

Great vegan pastries. Great variety. Breakfast items can be vegetarian (eggs, cheese) but we didn't try them.

Cute atmosphere. The Gf biscuit sandwich for almost $20 is too dry. The herbaceous flavor of the gf dough is great-but it’s really dense and there’s not much else going on to make up for the price. That said, I’m interested in coming back for baked goods.

Hands down my favorite vegan café in LA. The pancakes are the best pancakes I have ever tried and I have all over the world. I don’t know how the chef does it but hats off to him or her. The staff are so pleasant and kind and the atmosphere is very chill And relaxed. It is an inclusive and open space. The breakfast wrap is also to die for so glad that we came here all the way from Vancouver BC and looking forward to coming here again another time!

I come here at least once a week. The iced matcha with lavender is always perfect. Today I tried the pistachio bun and it was so delicious probably my new fav. I’ve had their gf pastries before too and all are always delicious. I love that the pastry case changes daily with a few staples always there. My son loves the gf sprinkle cookie. Definitely work trying if you’re interested. Prices are good and you support small businesses

Worth the wait! Very filling, and delicious with a plethora of vegan friendly options! I had the breakfast burrito with vegan sausage and Just Egg - their homemade smoky salsa is delicious! Pro tip - if you order online - walk to the front of the line to the left of the register to let them know you’re picking up.

My absolute favorite bakery! Everything they sell is delicious, especially the biscuit sandwiches. I bought one of their cakes for a friend's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful and everyone loved it! Nobody knew it was vegan. I tell everyone to go here, vegan or not. Their new remodel has made the outdoor area a super enjoyable place to hang out as well.

I have been a regular customer of Just What I Kneaded since the beginning and have seen it morph through all its different versions and updates over the years. This is one of my favorite spots in town! I love supporting a vegan business and the quality is always consistent. Friendly staff, cute vibe, great food - an important fixture of Frogtown community.

Every pastry I've had at Just what I kneaded has been excellent--so glad they have such high quality (and large-portioned) vegan pastries! I also really like this space. Frogtown is a quiet neighborhood and Just what I kneaded's indoor and outdoor seating is homey and relaxed.

Hidden gem that I would highly recommend if you’re ever in the Silver Lake area. They have recently pivoted to non-vegan options, but they have such good options and we love that they have continued to offer vegan options.

Never stop making the pink bday cake please!!!!!!! Out of this world yummy. All my non vegan friends rave about your pastries too, you could never tell!

Impeccable service! Tasty food, pastries and savories alike. We were here for a breakfast on a weekend. The line was long but it moved pretty fast. The atmosphere was chill. Dogs are allowed.
