My new favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles,CA! It's so nice and cozy here plus I get to eat dessert from Portos and stumptown coffee without going to Oregon ! Yay!

They have both caffeinated and un-caffeinated options which are really nice. They had two new drinks - Ube Latte and Turmeric Latte. We opted for the Ube Latte where they make their own ube simple syrup. The Mexican Mocha is delicious if you wanted some caffeine - it is a nice blend of spices and mocha syrup. I look forward to returning in the future

It's so hard to find actually tasty coffee in LA. Was over it all and then stumbled on the Mexican mocha here. I am so sad that Kaldi isn't closer to where I live

I always pop in Kaldi Coffee if I am visiting Tacos Villa Corona down the block. There isn't a lot of space to sit inside, but they do have plenty of tables outside where people sit with their dogs. A great spot to people watch too! Inside it's very hip. Minimalist vibes with a wall of records and handmade zines for sale. There's usually one cashier taking orders, but the line moves quickly. We've never waited longer than 5 mins for our drinks. This last visit, my husband ordered the cold brew with cardamom which was delicious. I ordered a ginger turmeric iced tea and I found it to be completely undrinkable, but my husband liked it! They have a small selection of pastries available as well. In short, if you are in the area and looking for a good cup of coffee, Kaldi is definitely worth visiting. The storefront is pretty low profile and the shop itself is pretty small, but look out for "KALDI" on their black awning outside.

Simply great coffee and great service. Not a lot of frills or extras. Atwater location with lots of competition on the block; but Kaldi is my go to when you really need a good cup o’ Joe, outside seating, and a relatively quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. It doesn’t hurt that it’s next to Dune for lunch and a few good blocks of window shopping (and great small businesses to support) for before or after.

This place sucks, treated unfairly made my 2 and 3 year old put a mask on but allowed someone else's child not to wear a mask. Never will I go hear again. I also could make a better coffe and matcha at home .

Have tried the cold brew once and today i tried their iced matcha latte and i was disappointed both times. Both drinks tasted very watered down.

Consistently great spot for years and years in Atwater. The barista today is lovely, makes a mean cappuccino, and always keeps the line moving quickly. A couple other spots have opened nearby over the years for coffee but Kaldi remains the neighborhood favorite for a reason.

No-frills coffeeshop with solid espressos and cold brews at a super reasonable price. The indoor area is currently closed because of COVID, but there's ample outdoor seating and decent wifi for getting some work done. Would recommend!

High quality and well prepared coffee. I enjoy in particular their espresso drinks, which are almost always prepared with precision. As well, their filter coffee prices are more than reasonable at $2.25 a cup. Overall, a great place in this dynamic area of Atwater Village.

My most stop when I'm in town and headed to the farmers market. Love a two-shot latte with whole milk in an 8oz cup. Sheer perfection.

Came into get coffee like I use to and this white lady came out to put the umbrella on the table after telling her good morning she gave me a evil look maybe I thought it wasn't her day but after she sees her friend and another customer I notice that she was happy to see they and also welcomed they very friendly so I take it this must be white privilege i guess no matter where I gomy color always seems to be a factor

I’m obsessed with pains au chocolat and have tried many spots in LA. I was actually on my way to Proof as I had read it was good but it was closed. That’s when I discovered this great gem across the street. I had the best pain au chocolat I’ve had in LA! Highly recommend!

I Got a coffee here, it was lukewarm - not quite hot, I turned around to inform the barista and he microwaved it. Microwave coffee ???
