This has become my go-to spot for a quick and delicious work lunch. The staff is always welcoming, the service is speedy, and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. The fish is high quality, the rice is perfectly prepared, and the seaweed adds the perfect touch. They keep everything you need, like ginger and water, refreshed throughout the meal. It’s also a great option for anyone with a nut allergy. Definitely a lunch favorite!

Fast, fast, fast.
But, the magic is in the nori. A warm crunch that disappears into the flavors of rice and fish. Not your usual roll. Not in any sense.
The 6 hand roll option is delivered warm and precise.
I can’t wait to come back.

This is my favorite place to stop when I go to LA. It’s always consistently and incredibly good and I eat way too much.

This is, without a doubt, the best sushi place I've ever eaten at. It was super fresh and the staff was very friendly and informative when I was making my decisions.

One of my favorite handful places. Service was excellent! Hand rolls are 10 out of ten. I recommend reservations

Great sushi rolls in a low key, bar style restaurant. Small menu with rolls and sashimi. No reservations required

Of all the restaurants in all the world…. Seriously, there’s the pulled noodle place in Shenzhen, the cozy garden in Taormina, the fish house in the Yucatán, the grill in Hong Kong. And this? Yes! Yes! Brilliant!! Inexpensive!! So fun and full of all the right flavors. Of all my favorites in all the world, if they were all outside my door I think I might end up here the most. Feels exclusive, limited but awesome cocktails (the dry sushi cup) and the incredible balance of nori and just the right amount of fresh scallop, toro, hamachi and more. It’s not for everyone. Bar seating. Limited cocktails. Nothing but fish and rice. But, if it’s for you it is really for you. I ate there last night. I had dessert there tonight (scallop roll!) and if I was here another night I’d eat there tomorrow. But, and alas, I’m moving on. Please eat here often enough that it will be here the next time I’m in town!
Recommended dishes: Bay Scallop, Toro Hand Roll
