Terrible service. The coffee was okay but they messed up my order then proceeded to blame me for it. Employees need to work on their customer service skills.

You can see it immediately after passing the security check at the airport, so it is very convenient to eat.

When I lived in CA, I knew Klatch as a local chain with quality, specialty coffee that would make a pour over. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Klatch in LAX, as I typically resign to terrible, burnt coffee in airports. Although the menu lists “brew bar” under the traditional coffee section, notes it as “market price”, and instructs customers to ask the barista what today’s coffee offering is, they do NOT do pour overs here. The employee was not even aware what a pour over was when I asked for it. If this bait and switch by Klatch was first experience with them, I would not visit again.

Klatch coffee has been my favorite for years but this LAX branch is horrible. The staff did not properly even out the distribution before tampering. My latte tasted bitter and terrible without any complexity. Honestly, it is even worse than Starbucks and Peet’s. I asked the staff what kinds of bean they are selling, and do they sell the house espresso beans. Both the cashier staff and the barista were not even sure about the beans and different categories of beans Klatch is selling. They gave me a bag of Brazil beans but that is indeed not the house blend.I’m quite disappointed with the experiences. And I honestly believe klatch is building a rather negative representation of their coffee if they cannot maintain the quality and provide adequate training for the staff. I know airport is a busy environment, and I respect the staff working there with tremendous stress. However, I also want to see a knowledgeable barista and a cup of coffee with more complexity that could show me why Klatch was indeed a winner of WBC. Sadly, for today, I rather experienced a worse than chain cafe.

At approximately 1230 pm 03/09, I saw an old frail lady who fell on the floor at your Cafe and your cashier saw this yet she continued her transaction with a customer, ignoring the old lady until a passerby and me helped her. This is ridiculous. When she observed that I witnessed the event, she pretended to be caring for the old lady asking if she hurt herself.Your staff needs to be trained for such emergency situations and not put on an act of a good Samaritan later.

Came in for hot water in my mug and drink for my husband. Celina charges a custom amount of $1 for hot water, which I don’t mind paying, but would rather give it in tip…. They wouldn’t use your mug, instead they would much rather use a double paper cup just for me to pour the water into my mug in 2 seconds and throw the paper cups… such a waste. I understand, it was a thing during pandemic, but we are way past those times. Just silly and wasteful. Also, when I asked if they had Starbucks nearby, since they don’t make the drink I needed, she replied:”not around here”. And yeah, surely enough, it’s a 4 min walk in next terminal… just why not be helpful?

With a line 30 people deep at one of the busiest times of the day in a highly visited airport such as LAX i was actually shocked to see only two employees working - sad to see the lack of care this company takes . Service area to add the cream cheese to the bagel that was ok at best was littered with boxes - and carts or transport dollies . And the counter was not clean . Why not employ and train to manage what could even a more profitable business . Multiple guests were discussing the lack of staff.Oh and coffee was pretty good but not worth the wait for sure. Not worth the 35 min in line .

Food and coffee were OK. Service a bit hit or miss. They get frazzled when there are a lot of people in

Worker at the counter was very friendly, girl in the kitchen was rude. My order came out and was sitting on the counter, had a plane to catch & was quietly waiting for someone to notice. She made a remark about me “staring at her” to another worker that was more concerned with her phone and getting a speaker going. Oh and my name isn’t Janet ;) got every name wrong ahead of me which doesn’t help when calling out orders that are ready.

Poor service. Came here for a coffee but noticed 3 workers casually talking in the front while 1 person was handling orders, register & getting coffee. All this while a 20+ person line formed. There may be something else I’m not seeing, but the perception was staff was slacking off during a busy morning rush.
