This is one of Roy Choi's first LA brick and mortar restaurants (maybe the first?). The menu reflects the flavors of the original Kogi truck and has some of the highest QC on the west side. Just get the short rib burrito and fries, and call it a night.
I don't know where this brick and mortar store front is, because all that was there at this location was a food truck that made damn good tacos. The fusion worked out and the tacos were one of a kind, especially the tofu ones. One thing was that maybe the tortilla part could have used a bit more cooking but overall the taste was great. There were no places to sit though, so we had to have our lunch on a bench nearby.

Trying kogi out was on my bucket list unfortunately I was unable to visit the location myself but I was able to have it delivered. I tried all three options of the tacos and was not disappointed in the slightest.
