Dear Kopan Sushi Management,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your restaurant today July 30 at 1pm. During my visit on July 30, I encountered multiple issues that greatly impacted my dining experience.

First and foremost, I was appalled by the behavior of two of your waiters. Not only was he rude and unprofessional, but he also attempted to charge me the dinner price for a lunch special bento that I had ordered. This blatant attempt to overcharge me was completely unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected as a customer.

Furthermore, I was shocked to find that I was not given a basic courtesy such as a glass of water throughout my meal. The lack of attention to such a fundamental aspect of customer service was disappointing.

Additionally, the uncomfortable dining environment due to the lack of air conditioning made my experience even more unpleasant. It was incredibly hot inside the restaurant, which significantly detracted from my overall enjoyment of the meal.

Moreover, I was deeply disturbed to overhear the waiter making derogatory remarks about customers, including myself, behind our backs. Such unprofessional behavior has no place in the service industry, where the primary focus should be on serving customers with respect and courtesy.

I believe that these issues reflect poorly on the reputation of Kopan Sushi and raise concerns about the quality of service provided at your establishment. As a customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy, neither of which I experienced during my visit.

I urge you to address these issues promptly and take appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Customers should feel valued and respected when dining at your restaurant, and it is essential that all staff members uphold the standards of customer service expected in the industry.

Unfortunately, based on my recent experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Kopan Sushi to others. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to prevent similar situations from happening again.

Solid ramen and sushi spot in the Beverly Grove area. It’s very clean and pretty spacious inside which makes it good for a larger group. The food isn’t crazy overpriced and is really good for the quality of sushi that they serve. I also got some Spicy Miso Ramen which hit the spot and was really tasty. I got their Protein Roll which was very fresh too. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. Definitely will come here again for lunch and will try out their Happy Hour they just started.

Great food, the chef knows exactly what he's doing! However, their server Luke is absolutely dreadful. This server is rude, spaced out, unpleasant, and is killing the atmosphere of the place. The customer sitting next to us even pointed out that his service was horrible, so I'm not the problem here. Other than that, their food is so good that we went back a second and third time, but just ordered to go.

Decent spot with good pricing. Nothing that blows your mind but it’s solid if you’re eating in when the rolls are BOGO 50% off (all the time). Good for after work if you’re in the area. Would not get it to go - no BOGO 50% off and the rolls are not so fresh once u take them out

Well I wasn't thrilled about the vegetarian broth The stuff and it was good. I heard their pork ramen is broth is good but I don't have that. My friend enjoyed her sushi so I'm not just going to go based off my selective choices.

Good Ramen and nice hot sake.

We just ordered 2 sushi rolls and tonkotsu ramen through uber eat. First time trying this location but i do not recommend this place.
The sushi and ramen is not even freshly made. The baked scallop was so hard to chew it was hard rock and it was cold. Salmon wasn't even seared looks like dunk in the hot water and took it out!
Don’t spend your time and your precious money on here!!

This restaurant has very good sashimi. Other dishes are good but the sashimi stood out. The raw scallop dish melts in the mouth. The sushi is great. I mostly ordered the belly parts. They’re very fresh. Great service. Quick wait time. We ordered sake and they brought out a lot of beautiful sake cups for us to choose.

Food was decent and came out quick. However, I got the nastiest looks from the server throughout the entire meal. They never came back once throughout to check or fill water. Maybe because it was me (a girl) and my girlfriend? I don’t know. I read another review about them being rude to a darker skin customer. Seems right that they’d be rude to gay. Anyways, not worth the food because the service was terrible.
