Kopan Sushi & Ramen - Beverly Grove

Our visit was very disappointing. The waitress told us “Don’t come again” and was extremely pushy about tipping. The food was served cold and even the Coke came without ice. We expected much better.

I just visited this restaurant and had one of the worst experiences ever. The older woman working there had a terrible attitude and acted very unprofessional. We are students here and we were extremely respectful, yet she talked to us in a very rude way and even told us not to come to the restaurant again. One of the girls with us has social anxiety and doesn’t go out much, and she gets scared of loud noises, but this woman made it even worse for her with her behavior. While I was in the bathroom, someone from the staff kept trying to open the door even though I said clearly that I was inside. They left, then came back and tried again. I honestly don’t understand this kind of behavior. On top of all that, she expected us to leave her a tip, and she was yelling in the middle of the restaurant in front of everyone. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never come back.

Not really sure how the food tastes but walked in at 9:30 and they wouldn’t seat us because “closing early due to the rain”. There were at least 4 other parties seated but… maybe don’t come here if it’s raining?

Great spot for the price and the location! The fish is always super fresh, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. 🍣

Highly recommend the fatty tuna sushi - it’s incredible, and the truffle salmon blue crab roll is a must-try! 😋

Only downside: the draft beer is out of stock often times. 🍺

Otherwise, totally recommend this place!

Hands down the best sit down sushi spot in the area. Menu has many amazing food options for everyone, everything came out in 5 minutes at most. Quick and nice service! Would definitely recommend

Food was good, but experienced a mild allergic reaction due to cross contamination pertaining to my shellfish allergy.

This restaurant is not working well at all, their employees also treat the customer badly, they are not worthy of working in this kind of job because they are very rude and do not work well, they work very slowly

The baked salmon roll is so yummy!

Service is great! Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Food is really good too. Prices are reasonable.
I got their mango spicy tuna and salmon roll. It was great! The right amount of spicy and sweet.

Service sucks. Extremely rude.
We asked the kid/host with the long brown hair for a high chair for my 1 year old niece and he scoffed at my family and just stared at us and walked away.
He then proceeded to perform a little bit for us and would stop by the table every now and then and say “the high chair is on its way” with a smirk and chuckle.
Also kept giving my nieces ugly looks.

Don’t understand what his deal was to be hostile the second we walked in nor why he felt the need to target us and make us feel uncomfortable while we ate.
Mind you he wasn’t even our waiter.

Great food, great service, and a nice calm atmosphere. I usually go during lunch and germt the Bento Box! I recommend the Teriyaki Salmon and the Spicy Tuna Roll!
