You ever go to a ‘New York pizza’ place and ask yourself “what the hell is this?” That won’t happen at this place lol. This is the real deal and they’re not even calling themselves New York pizza in order to sell bad pies. They’re proper pizza and the pizza is exactly that; proper. Delicious and possibly one of the best pizzas in all of Los Angeles.
Came late Saturday night. No wait. Unfortunately, the selection was sparse but they still had some cheese slices left. The true test. They warmed it up and the crust was stiff, crispy, and gave the right amount of crunch when you bit into it. I've had some great slices in NYC (not on Bleeker St) and I've had some that were downright shameful (Two Bros). A dollar cheaper and this would fit in somewhere in the above average area just fine. Been here twice now and have loved it everytime! The food is so fresh and the pasta is so so so good for how fast and easy it is! You usually have to go to a fancy restaurant to get this meal :))
