Been here twice now and have loved it everytime! The food is so fresh and the pasta is so so so good for how fast and easy it is! You usually have to go to a fancy restaurant to get this meal :))

A bit expensive and extremely average. A bit confused and disappointed considering all the other positive reviews.

Premium tasting ingredients, best pizza I've had in a while. I got the chicken parm with added pepperoni, excellent flavor.

You ever go to a ‘New York pizza’ place and ask yourself “what the hell is this?” That won’t happen at this place lol. This is the real deal and they’re not even calling themselves New York pizza in order to sell bad pies. They’re proper pizza and the pizza is exactly that; proper. Delicious and possibly one of the best pizzas in all of Los Angeles.

Great food nice people and the inside looks clean and simple and just not the biggest. I would recommend going here.

Came late Saturday night. No wait. Unfortunately, the selection was sparse but they still had some cheese slices left. The true test. They warmed it up and the crust was stiff, crispy, and gave the right amount of crunch when you bit into it. I've had some great slices in NYC (not on Bleeker St) and I've had some that were downright shameful (Two Bros). A dollar cheaper and this would fit in somewhere in the above average area just fine. Plus they got a buffalo slice that uses grilled rather than breaded chicken. Expected in California, would be rare in NYC. Got the chicken Parm slice as well. Fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, all good. Whole specialty pies get creative as well. If you can manage to find parking give this place a try. But if you prefer your NY slices a little bigger, greasier, saucy, and slightly more expensive, try Bobby's down the street.

Pretty small space but they have outside seating. Opened by 2 people who came from the East coast to bring Brooklyn pizza to LA. I've never had Brooklyn pizza before but their pizzas are huge. Fun flavors that I haven't really seen at other places likes bbq chicken. Their proper pizza looked the best and I thought it was pretty tasty. Crust is on the thinner end but didn't like it much. Their pastas are GOOD. Sauces on point. Vodka, bolognese, scampi. Comes out HOT which I appreciate. The chicken I added was pretty lackluster but the sauces are good so maybe I'll just add my own protein. Shrimps in shrimp scampi were huge. Street parking.

This was great! I ordered food To go and tried the white pizza and the Novelty penne vodka pizza. So tasty! It was still warm when it got to me and the whole thing came super quickly. I'm excited to hear back here for more pizza in the future!

They don't serve NY Pizza. I lived in NY. There is no comparison except Proper Pizza was thin. Poor flour made the crust taste like tough cardboard. Besides the poor pizza, the young lady forgot to order my pizza. It too 15 minutes to get two slices. I can't judge the rest of the food but this doesn't qualify the best NY pizza in LA. Not even close!

My kid like the truffle fries and the cheese pizza. Personally, I did not find anything remarkable are here but I'm an old guy. If you are young, then you should try the truffle fries and cheese pizza because my kid likes them a lot.

This place is better than ever. It's like they improve their pizza recently. It's absolutely delicious. Another thing I like about this place is the staff is always friendly and it can't stress how important that is they're just the nicest people all the time

Listen.... I hate to be a hater, but I hope to tamper someone else's expectations so they're not disappointed like me. $38 for this food... now if I had paid 30 or under, I might not be here making this review. But at a $40 price point... I expect to enjoy myself...!!! The pomodori pasta... despite its simplicity, was just bleh. Even after adding fancy olive oil and cheese at home it couldn't be saved. Pizza was good, in a bowling alley pizza kind of way, but hey, I love bowling alley pizza does the job. I suppose this place is more so for quick slice seekers, and for that it does the job

Who doesn't love pizza? This location happens to be right next to where we used to live, so we had to give it a shot. I have to say, there are lots of great flavor options available here. The one that stood out to us though was the Chicken Parm, so we ordered that this time. Since we were feeling hungry, we got the 20". This might have been a mistake though because the pizza was humongous. Each slice felt like a mini pizza in itself. But true to its name, the Chicken Parm tasted like a pizza with pieces of chicken parm added to it. I personally loved how the chicken wasn't too dry though, and added a nice flavor and texture to the rest of the pizza. I will warn that it's a fairly heavy pizza though, and you will probably get full after 2 slices, or even 1.5, like we did, but it was so worth it! The restaurant is quick service style, where you order at the front first and then get seated on your own. There's some seating inside but also outside in the front patio area. In terms of parking, there is meter street parking in front of the restaurant but if you're lucky, you might find some parking in the nearby residential side streets.
