Eels was cold, tasted like rubber , the kitchen forget my foods, waiter blaming chef had a bad day! No, it was unprofessional. I ended up left hungry still. This place was good 7 years ago, the foods and kitchen gone down hill recently. Not recommend it

While the food does not taste authentic Japanese cuisine, the restaurant exudes a Japan atmosphere owing to the advance technology in ordering and serving food.In particular, we are impressed by the robot that serves water.

The revolving belt is mostly a gimmick but the robot servers are truly impressive. Similar ambiance to the next door Sushi Stop but double the price.

I heard about this place from the hotel concierge and had to try. It was in a dense shopping city in 'JapanTown' and was nondescript on the outside. Once inside it was literally like walking into a restaurant in Tokyo! Cute little Anime all over the walls, and a robot server. The conveyor bring an unlimited supply of delicious sushi! The Bluefin Toro was out of this world! 5 stars!!

The experience is fun but the food is really really mediocre, bordering on bad. If not for the revolving belt experience, I would never recommend eating here.

The staff is so kind and they have a cute robot that serves you your drinks. The experience is amazing and the food is great we have been going here since 2015 and it has always been amazing. 100% recommend. -PS the seasonal matcha sushi is the BEST

Small plates at $3.7 each plate on the belt with anywhere from 2 to 4 rolls a plate. Can get expensive if you aren't careful. A few of the cooked items were overcooked like the fried squid and fried shrimp.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They have prize balls for when you hit 15 plates so a family of 3 can pretty much always get a prize.Wheelchair accessibility: Can be cramped but doable.

There is a Kura Sushi in every big Asian area and kids love this place. When there isn't a 2 hour wait, it is a quick, easy meal. The kids love pulling stuff off the conveyor belt and it keeps them nice and distracted. I noticed they also tend to eat more because they have incentives for the number of plates you deposit into the slot. The toys/prizes ranges from anime magnets to cute little Kura keychains. The fish quality is not the best but it is not the worst, especially for about $3 a plate. Don't let the prices fool you because they can add up quick- especially if you order any of the hot stuff. I do recommend the crispy squid (grown up and kid approved) and I personally like the crispy salmon skin. It's a bit salty, but if you eat it with rice, it's pretty good. Our usual go to is the salmon sushi, a couple of the handrolls in soy paper, red snapper in Yuzu, Kura roll, Philadelphia roll, crispy squid and crispy salmon skin. I highly recommend getting the app because it lets you join the waitlist and you get $5 off coupons.

Don't do it... Sushi of already questionable quality sitting on a conveyor belt for an unknown amount of time with little turnover is not the move. I remember wishing I just got a roll from Ralph's.

They do not deserve the one star. I ordered on Door Dash from the Sawtell location had Salmon Skin Hand Roll arrived messy and not rolled at all. Soft Shell Crab and Tempura Shrimps greasy. Crunchy roll 3 pcs terrible not crunch hardly any sushi all rice. Caterpillar Roll all rice and the sushi very tiny small pcs. All rice and hardly any sushi. Honestly not worth the money.

My friends and I have been to Kura before and were looking forward to going tonight. Wait times are usually long, but tonight was unacceptable. I didn't know about the app, so I went to the restaurant at 6:30 to join the waitlist, only to learn that at that time they only had the waitlist available through the app. So I downloaded the app, added me and my two friends, and got a time estimate of 65-80 minutes. The actual wait was over two hours. During the wait we were given multiple inaccurate time estimates, both by the app and by the endlessly patient host (give this guy a raise!), that led us to believe we'd be seated soon. After two hours and facing a wait of at least another hour, we decided we shouldn't bother. We got the text that our table is ready 3.25 hours after we put our name down, over two hours past what we were told. Anyone looking for a reliable restaurant that won't make you wait around for hours should look elsewhere. The food certainly isn't worth waiting for.

A little on the pricey side, but quick and tasty. Good place to take a child. It was interesting to see what the future looks like: their waiter is a robot.
