Unbelievable plant based sushi experience in a beautiful setting with great service. All of the dishes on the menu are wonderful and worth trying. Maria and Angel are so friendly and professional. We are so disappointed the restaurant has decided to close the end of this month. There is nothing else like it in Los Angeles.

Had an amazing meal last night at Kusaki, shared with friends. Everything was incredible, but an extra gold star for the Miso Brownie dessert - one of the best deserts I've ever had, ever! So good we a thinking of another quick meal before they close later this month. Highly recommended for a unique vegan experience with great service and beautiful food.

Went last Sunday for dinner. I've eaten a fair amount of vegan sushi, including the excellent sushi at Planta in Bethesda, MD near where I live. Kusaki knocks it out of the park with great flavors and textures.
We shared the avocado crispy rice, watermelon granita, king mushroom roll, dragon roll, and the chunk steak with Japanese risotto. Everything was cooked right, tasted great, and beautifully presented. My favorite was the avocado crispy rice, because the combination of the avocado and crispy just worked. The chunk steak was remarkable in its texture and taste, with a great miso glaze and the accompanying risotto. Everyone in our party was satiated from the meal.

What can I say? Their 10-course omakase dinner was perfection. The flavors, the textures… just incredible. Pricey but well worth the money. The vegan sushi was so good, must be magic!

This was our first visit. From the moment we walked through the door the service was impeccable! Everyone was so kind and helpful. We tried almost every appetizer. Our most favorite was the wonton, but all were absolutely delicious!!! The food was fresh and flavorful. My non-vegan friend said she was coming back with her kids! I'm sad to learn that they are closing in November. If you've ever thought of visiting, put it on your to do list right away!
We had the 10 course Omakase and everything was so delicious. The salmon is out of this world. I have never had vegan fish that tasted like this. The menu has some very unique and outstanding flavors. Expensive, but worth it.
