Tried this spot that was recommended by a co-worker. Went there to have tacos and ended up with pozole and carnitas taco 😋. The location and restaurant does not have curb appeal, and there is a bit of an element in the small strip mall that this is located in. It took about 15 minutes to get our food, so if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend calling ahead. It's not that this place is crazy busy, so I am not sure why it took so long. Had a pastor and a chorizo huaraches. Blew me away. Fantastic! They make their own chorizo, deep flavor, cooked crispy. Same with the pastor, small chunks of crispy pork, just slightly saucy. Everything is made to order so it takes a bit, but I was fine with that. The very definition of a hidden gem...I don't live in LA but I'll go back as often as possible when I'm here -- and bring as many people as I can with me.
