The hot chocolate I ordered and huevos rancheros breakfast was on point but unfortunately the pan dulce isn't what it used to be. This was my childhood bakery that I would come to from East Hollywood but the bolillo is nothing what I remember and that made me sad. Loved their chamucos and chorriadas but it's not the same. Wish they would've stayed consistent with their product but it is what it is.

Have been visiting La Mascota since I was a kid and still love their food and service.

Put the prices on the bread deserts.

Tamales were dry and flavorless, I specifically told the lady my order multiple times. I caught her giving me the wrong order and asked her to correct it, only to find out when I got home that it was still wrong. They pay more attention to their decor than their customer service or the quality of the food, save your money and go somewhere else.

what tasty food! And their pot coffee with a chorreada or a tastier elote doesn't compare to anything

Parking: Try the pastries, they are very tasty in addition to the bread, and the people who serve are very friendly and very patient, thank you

What a disappointment the kings' thread was previously very delicious and this year. It came out a little raw and tasteless. I hope next year they will pay more attention.

My name is Rene I was serving in the military in South Viet Nam, in 1967 at Christmas time La Mascota sent me Mexican pastries they didn’t only taste so good it filled my heart with the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and to this day almost 60 years since I am so grateful for the kind Christmas greetings that came from 17hrs by air to the remote military base were I was.named Soc Trang. This year I don’t to go by without wishing the most sincere wonderful Christmas. May God grant them all the Blessings

So back in the day when this place opened, they had tamales ,coffee, and sweet bread all ready. When they opened on the weekends, they had mendo ready to go as soon as they opened today they said nothings ready and to come back later 45 minutes smh why open if your not going to have things ready and turn customers away now I went back and that line is around the corner 😑
