what tasty food! And their pot coffee with a chorreada or a tastier elote doesn't compare to anything

Parking: Try the pastries, they are very tasty in addition to the bread, and the people who serve are very friendly and very patient, thank you

What a disappointment the kings' thread was previously very delicious and this year. It came out a little raw and tasteless. I hope next year they will pay more attention.

My name is Rene I was serving in the military in South Viet Nam, in 1967 at Christmas time La Mascota sent me Mexican pastries they didn’t only taste so good it filled my heart with the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and to this day almost 60 years since I am so grateful for the kind Christmas greetings that came from 17hrs by air to the remote military base were I was.named Soc Trang. This year I don’t to go by without wishing the most sincere wonderful Christmas. May God grant them all the Blessings

So back in the day when this place opened, they had tamales ,coffee, and sweet bread all ready. When they opened on the weekends, they had mendo ready to go as soon as they opened today they said nothings ready and to come back later 45 minutes smh why open if your not going to have things ready and turn customers away now I went back and that line is around the corner 😑

The worst tamales we have ever tried. Dry and they fell apart. Unsatisfied with the quality they sell to the customers. They hardly had any meat and cheese was off. Never again!!

I love La Mascota, the ladies are very efficient and nice. The food is delicious and flavorful. I have been coming here for 15 years, and I will make the drive anytime!

I bought a dozen and 1/2 of tamales, arrived home and tasted one i had to throw it away, tasted awful
I am so sad cause i used love their tamales (the originals) but since the owner died and the bakery was sold the tamales are not the same, also the sweet bread no bueno. I won't be coming back to this place. End of an era!

For Christmas Eve, be aware that ordering ahead and showing up just to pick up seems to make absolutely no difference in wait time or priority. In fact, right now the line to order seems to be faster at the moment and it’s shorter! They need to figure out their system. The tamales are good but you have to be ready to wait a long time even if you order ahead.
