no muy bueno and expensive. $4 for four pastries (two small conchas, a piece of dulce de leche and a sugar cookie that looks like it came in a box from walmart).

The place was closed for 3 days due to unhealthiness. I strongly recommend not buying or consuming their products. The owner is very bitter and angry, unfriendly, never go!

This is the place to go for champurado! The bread is ok, it's too stale. But after today I'm NEVER going back again. The bakery always looked disorganized and a bit dirty. They just reopened after being closed to a few days with a B rating. And things did look a lot cleaner, so i gave them the benefit of the doubt, i was sitting at their table waiting for them to make a new batch of champurado and there was a cockroach! Inches frommy arm crawling on the table! I jumped up with disgust. No wonder they were closed for 3 days after getting inspected by the health department!!! NEVER GOING BACK.

Went on a sunday to have menudo with my father. Menudo was ok but the old man cashier was rude as hell. I asked if i can have tortillas with my menudo and he straight shot me down and said we dont serve tortillas here. But then i guess he felt bad and gave them too me. The owner needs to check his worker because of people like that your business is looking bad. Most likely will never return.

The tamales and the cochinita pibil are delicious.
La Perlita Cafe in Los Angeles California is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition for its outstanding food and warm hospitality. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The tamales are a must-try item on the menu; The masa is perfectly seasoned, and the fillings are deliciously savory or sweet, depending on your preference. The sweet bread or pan dulce is another standout item. It's freshly baked and has the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. But what really sets La Perlita Cafe apart is the sense of family and community that permeates the space. The owners and staff truly care about their customers and take pride in serving up delicious food. For those looking for something hearty, the menudo and burritos are also highly recommended. And for breakfast lovers, there are some amazing options to start your day off right. Make sure to try the cochinita pibil, a traditional Mexican pork dish, and the rosca de reyes, a sweet bread that's often served during the holidays. Overall, La Perlita Cafe is a wonderful place to visit for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a sense of family. With so many positive reviews from satisfied customers, it's easy to see why this restaurant is a local favorite.
