Overpriced and subpar

In my humble opinion, this is hands down the best coffee shop in Los Angeles. The owner isn’t just passionate about coffee—he’s an international coffee competition judge, which speaks volumes about the level of expertise and dedication behind every cup. He sources beans directly from some of the finest growers around the world, so you can expect nothing less than top-tier quality every time you visit.

The entire staff here is warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure your coffee is made exactly the way you like it. I want to give a special shoutout to Mimi and Yun—two incredible people who truly are the heartbeat of this café. Their friendly energy and personal touch help create a vibe that’s both inviting and memorable.

If you’re someone who appreciates high-quality coffee and a thoughtfully curated experience, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a must-visit gem for any coffee lover.

The strawberry matcha tasted so bad - sugary green-colored strawberry water. Just stick to coffee or do some quality control.

Went here with high hopes which were squashed immediately. The atmosphere isn’t bad and the coffee isn’t terrible but expected way more from a snooty store like this.
The worst part was the attitude of the owner who literally asked me “why are you here” after I’d placed my order with the younger employee, who also seemed rather judgmental when I was asking questions.
I know things can get busy in a coffee shop, but jeez, pay attention and be kind to your customers!

They’ve put a lot of effort into decorating the café to give it a professional look, but the coffee quality is mediocre. The prices are too high for what you get. It felt like I went expecting Stereoscope, but ended up with an overpriced Starbucks.

Great coffee! We tried LaB coffee one time at Eggspresso for breakfast and decided to order a few bags once we got back home. So nice to have it delivered right to our door in 1lb bags! Nikki is so helpful and friendly, thank you again.

Came here 20 mins before closing and they couldnt serve coffee because they were cleaning the machine already. Come here everyday from Sherman oaks. Wasted my time today driving.

this is hands down the best coffee in los angeles. this is worth traveling for, they put so much care in every cup. beans, pastries also top notch. this is my favorite spot, you have to try it.

Lab is hands down my favorite coffee shop! Their espresso is the best —consistently made with high quality beans. The cold brew is great too! They also have the most delicious scones. The matcha one is my absolute favorite. The staff here are friendly and always make you feel welcome. I also love their punch card system; it's such a fun little perk for regulars. Plus, they always treat my dog with a little snack. It's his favorite pit stop on his morning walks. Highly recommend Lab for coffee lovers and pet owners alike.

Do you love coffee in its purest form? Then this your spot. Some of the best beans I’ve ever tasted. If you have the opportunity to try the Guatemala COE you’re in for a treat. This coffee has so much depth of flavor it’s insane.

The service is beyond any coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Yun is so kind and knowledgeable about coffee. I feel just interacting with her is worth the trip. I learn so much every time I go.

Highly recommend. I’ll be coming here for years.
