The food is great, I’m not giving 5 stars because I don’t like it when they try to cheat. They charge you a service charge of 18%, I supposed that was the tip, but then at the end they give you the option to tip again. Is the service charge for the owner?

Great customer service. We ordered the table de carnes (NY strip, skirt steak, tenderloins). The first time around, our steaks were well done (we ordered medium rare) but the manager was very nice about it and he had the order re-done. It was much better after that, for our liking. Waitstaff checked on us multiple times, also. On the side we had zucchini and fries. We also tried flan and lemon cake for dessert. If you ever find yourself downtown, this is a good spot. There's a public pay parking lot across the street on Main (cost tonight was $10). Next time, we'd like to try the ribeye.

I saw some great reviews on Google about this spot and I decided to check it out.I ordered their Argentine Costilla Grande, calamar frito & fried shrimp along with their Signature Cab, “Lala.” The steak was ok, it wasn’t seasoned much and I asked for medium rare and it was past that.I added salt, A1 steak sauce and it did the job. I don’t think it was worth $40 for that cut. I’ve had Argentinian steaks at other spots and for half the price. Their steak wasn’t horrible at all but for the price, I was expecting way more & it was ok. I know it’s an insult to ask for Bbq sauce at a steak house but I needed some bbq for this one.The calamari & fried shrimp were good but lacked the crisp that I’m used to. It was seasoned, juicy but it was also underwhelming. The highlight of the whole meal was the wine, their Lala Cab was phenomenal & I’ll probably get a bottle next time for home. Customer service was cool also.I’d definitely come back again and try this other menu items.

We loved this restaurant. We were supposed to eat somewhere else, but we ended up coming to LALA's downtown instead, and boy are we glad. We have a fabulous time. They had great music, great service, and the food was outstanding.

Hands down the best steak I’ve had in my life, and this is coming from a Southerner!I give them 4 for the atmosphere because it’s a little tight in here. The service for a Valentine’s Day walk-in was as expected. A few more staff and this place is absolutely perfect!WELL DONE! ??

Probably the best place to eat Argentine-style meat in Los Angeles, it would be recommended for Latinos to satisfy their desire for good food in the city. They also have a wide wine list and good beer options.

Milanese Napolatina was gooood! I got the LaLa’s mashed potatoes with the carrot. Sangria was really good too! They also have complimentary bread with amazing olive oil, parsley and garlic for dipping. The Tortilla de Papa is good. They make theirs with red peppers.

Man, the food is very plane flavor here. ? no seasoning. I asked the waiter for recommendations on special drinks and he says there is no full bar. ??‍♂️ then he got my main dish wrong. Definitely not worth it. I think the taco shop around the corner has more flavor.

To be fair, I love Lala's no matter what. I have the provoluta and it wasn't as good as I recall the time previous, but I believe it was probably rushed due to their being a good amount of business. We weren't very hungry so we only had empanadas besides that. As always they were fantastic. Under almost any circumstances. The food gets four stars only because the first provoletto was unbelievably good. This was one of the busier times I have gone and so service was a bit slower than I am used to but it was still certainly adequate. Would I eat here again? I hope so.
