Solid French spot in DTLA. Came here with a couple of friends having made a reservation beforehand, and we enjoyed a pre-fixe menu of 3 courses each (which was a good deal because we were able to try different things). Ever since I came back from France I have struggled to find a restaurant where the food had the same quality as the places I went to while I was there. I finally found it with L'Appart. Much of the staff is French so it makes sense and they were very welcoming and attentive. I had the Onion Soup and Tartare and they were both delicious. We went here last week and it was the best food we’ve had in a while. We ordered the lamb shank, the duck, mezze platter
options, escargot pizza, loaded fries, and three desserts. The wine list is fire, the vibe is romantic and fun. We were treated very well by the owner and staff. Big thank you to the whole restaurant.
