What a gem. Small restaurant in a small vendor street with authentic, delicious French cuisine. Food isn't too rich, salty, or sweet, and tastes like home cuisine instead of restaurant food where sometimes they pile on the ingredients to make the food stand out. We had the prix fixe menu, which was a very reasonable price for amount of food. We enjoyed our visit to L'Appart French restaurant. Located in interesting location of downtown Los Angeles. We appreciated both the food and the service. Worth a visit and we will be back soon. Parking available via paid lots in area.
L'APPART is a french 'diamond in the rough' in the middle of DTLA. The ambiance is quintessential 'ma mere's living room in Paris; very cute. The food is super delicious; the deviled eggs were yummy. The hostess/server is a sweetheart and she makes sure she takes care of the party. This is the perfect place for a date.
