My girlfriend loves pupusas and we live close by so I had to walk in and try it. She loved their pupusas and I got myself a carne asada plate and it was so delicious. Quality of the ingredients was great. Pricing wasn't too bad, and their fresh squeezed juices are so tasty.
Stopped here for dinner on a whim. The food was delicious, cooked to order, and very fresh. Definitely give them a try, just don't expect any bells and whistles. It's a hole in the wall with great flavor. I ordered 2 different pupusas and a Chile Relleno - all 3 were delicious.
When the food in a restaurant consistently exceeds all expectations, is always good, fairly priced, and served in a friendly manner, fiver stars it is.Las Tunas is a simple, workman's kind of place. Unpretentious. But excellent for pupusas and Salvadoran food in general. Don't let the looks fool you: grandma can COOK.
