I have been here 3-4 times and it hits every time. Super cozy, small, and so so so comforting. Especially on a Cold day. The pozole rojo made me want to cry how comforting and delicious it was. Huge portion with all the fixings. The tamales I took to go (chicken and pork) were also super delicious, moist, flavorful— all without being overwhelmingly fatty or greasy or salty. The service is friendly and sweet. I am an Asian girl and I still felt so at home here. Parking is limited...
Las Villanas is a true gem — a family-run restaurant where you immediately feel welcomed. Both the cook and the waitress were incredibly kind and patient, making the whole experience feel personal and genuine.

I’m a big believer of flavor when it comes to Mexican food. Today I had Al Pastor burrito and it was excellent. I made some changes and asked for frijoles del olla instead of refried, pastor, no rice, cilantro and onions. First, the flour tortilla was so soft and the pastor very flavorful. I asked for green Chile on the side. That was excellent too.Not spicy at all but packed flavor. I’m definitely going back.
